Then how the hell is it 3 hours from near Sneak? It's like 3 hours to get from High Point to Cape May, which is the longest distance possible without leaving the state.
Here is a pic... although you could have just typed the address in mapquest lol

The red star is the tournament, and u can also see where cape may is (farthest south in jersey)

looking at the map now i can see that inui lives no where near eggm lol. wasnt someone else giving rides from like north jersey down? ur like 2 hours from the venue. just walk it

walking = 5 days
rollerblading = 4 days
electric scooter = 3.5 days
bus rides = 2.5 hours
driving = 2 hours
crawling = 9 days?

See if they have a bus to Atlantic City. If so, take it there. It's a common landmark of the state country. then il give u a ride from there to the tourney.

Edit:

Actually the bus is... about 13 hours lol
njtransit.com plan a trip from princeton to atlantic city

TSA PA: For those of you in Philly, who can house me and WoZ for NEC Saturday night?
Cactuar and Scar have been having some housing issues lately. Meaning their roommates are tired of smelling a certain Cinninminson denizen's funk in the morning and have complained about it.

I usually stay at my girlfriend's on weekends and she is not a big fan of being ignored because of a video game (which would totally happen). However, her work schedule has been kind of crazy lately so I may be able to house you guys. I will let you know.

LK is always looking for people to play. If his dorm allows it and he approves I would give him a call. He is going to be at NEC for melty blood at least.

Velocity moved recently, so I don't know if he is housing people, but he used to have people stay at his place all the time.

There is always M2K, but he is pretty upset aboot his controller and VLS so he may be taking a break from smash until he finds a better controller.

I could talk to drexel smashers and see if they can house you.

Ok ,so I'm going to post the training schedule and how I have envisioned that it should be run, but nothing is totally set in stone and things will be subject to change as we discover as a crew, what works and what doesn't. I also want to touch on a few things before I post the schedule though.

First off, people try to get to the meeting as early as possible, so we can all use our time efficiently. Ok, now the meeting should start at 1 pm since we all know that we want to get in as much training as possible. Also, in the future people plz BRING SET-UPS!!!! WoZ, this goes for you too, lol. I know you got that new t.v, and we can use Chloe's GC for it. I want there to be at least 7 set-ups in the future. And I want there to be no less then 4 VCR's. I think everyone should bring a tape if they can for recording so we don't have any problems with running out of tape for recording. People who want to record have priority over those that don't. So if you are playing at a t.v with a VCR and someone asks you to get up so they can record, then please don't be a jerk face and get your lazy *** up ok?

Also, one set-up will always be free play. You can play how ever you want on that set-up. This set-up will have a VCR, so the priority rule of recording still applies. Also if someone wants to use this set-up to look over recorded matches, then they get priority as well.

When talking about set-ups I'm not including my mother's big screen, of course. That will always be for friendlies.

Everyone should try to record matches while they are there. At least 5 or 6 so they have something to look over later.

Don't be a hog when it comes to recording. If you know you have recorded around 15 or more matches then let other people record.

Ok, now here is the training shcedule.

1 pm to 2 pm - Friendlies: Yeah , I figured that it would be best to start with these. When people first arrive to the meeting they often just want to settle into things with some casual matches. Well, here is your opportunity. Since I know I can't stop people from playing friendlies, I might as well set-up some time for them and use them to get everyone settled and ready to train. Feel free to use your practice characters here as well.

2 pm to 3pm - Counterpick stages only: We all know how this works and what makes it good for training. Feel free to use your mains or secondaries.

3 pm to 4 pm - Secondaries: Worked out some of the kinks in this one with a fairly good plan, so I'll let you all know what I came up with. One player must pick thier secondary and they will also choose which character thier opponent uses out of their mains and secondaries. The stage you play on will be up to you. You can choose random, a counterpick, a neutral or you can both agree on a stage, it's up to you. After every match the player that wasn't forced to use their secondary will be forced to do so. Basically after each match the person who must use thier secondary will be switched to the other player.

4 pm to 5 pm - Forced Disadvantage: Already explained previously, but I'll do it again. Just play a match that put's you at a disadvantage so you have to work harder and play smarter to win at. Tell your opponent which character to play out of the ones they play and you pick the stage as well. This is a good chance to work on playing stages you suck at or match-ups that you suck at. After every match the player that gets the disadvantage switches and that player chooses the conditions of the battle.

5 pm to 6 pm - Tournament sets: Do I really need to explain this? lol. Anyway this is the perfect opportunity to record matches so don't squander it.

6 pm to 7 pm - Food break: This shouldn't even take the full hour. Usually we will be done in 45 minutes. After we get back we will just play friendlies, until 7 pm hits.

7 pm to 8 pm - Team practice: Practice teams however you feel. Stages and characters are all up to you the players.

8 pm tp 9 pm - Strat Session: Need to practice obscure tricks, various set-ups, ways to DI out of certain combos, etc? This is the time to do it. Set the match to 10 minute time match no stocks. Then pick the characters and stage that you need in order to practice what you need to practice and get to it. Don't have anything that you need to practice or you finished before the hour was up? Then use the time for friendlies, recording matches, or training using w/e drill you want.

9 pm to 11 pm - 1 dollar tourney: The perfect opportunity to put whatever you learned in the training sessions to the test. Matches will be recorded if requested and if the t.v's aren't being played on by anyone else in the tourney. Winner's finals, loser's finals, and grand final's will be recorded and put onto youtube without question.

11 pm to Midnight- Match viewing/critiqueing: This is the time where we look at vids of ourselves and look over mistakes, good plays, edge guarding, overall playstyle, weaknessess, etc. This is why everyone should bring thier own tape and record on a piece of paper, which matches at which times on the tape do they think are worth going over, so they can just go right to that match and look it over. This is also why we need many VCR's. You can play friendlies or train however you please if you don't want to view matches.

Ok, guys tell me what you think. Any suggestions on how to improve this? Does it look good this way? Please give me some feedback and give me your ideas as well, Thank you.

You can't actually do that at dinner?

Seems to me like most everyone in the crew complains about taking time out from playing to do the meeting.

>_>

Fine, whatever.

There better not be any complaining, being that they have all day to play the game. We have crew business to attend to.

We aren't a simple crew where all we do is play all day. Growth occurs when these meetings take place.

But yeah, we can do meetings during dinner if we all eat at the same place.

Sneak and teh spamerer tend to whine about the length of meetings. >_>

Anyway, to be honest you are right there should be NO complaining.

Honestly, we could meet up even earlier if people really want to, but they always want to come late.

You can roll outta bed at 11 am for a tourney then you can make a 1 pm meeting/training session I say.

Sneak and teh spamerer tend to whine about the length of meetings. >_>
A tendency to whine means that I have whined about the length of multiple meetings, which I haven't since I've only been to one. I don't see the point in reading out how EVERYONE placed in EVERY tournament. WoZ said the point is to see how you compare with other members in TSA, but by the time he's done reading the last person's results I can't even remember how well I did in comparison. There's just toooooo many results for me to remember them and compare myself, which is why I think it'd be 10000000x more effective to just post them online and make it mandatory reading.

Excuse my ignorance but what is "the meeting"?

Yes I know everyone gets together and plays obviously but apparently there are deeper elements involved.

Is this NJ TSA meeting only or something?

Two. Holy ****terlings, my mother would explode if I stayed that late. Is that the time slot of every meeting?

Spamerer, that was the first meeting where I read results off to people. Usually at meetings we talk about what we're going to do next crew-wise, what's coming up for us to go to, and any other issues we might have.

Reading off results will be something that'll happen every 2 months or so. It'll also keep people updated on what's happening with its members.

Next time, I'll probably type up some agendas the way meetings are supposed to do and hand them out to the members. That way, you can see in writing what's coming up, as well as player tournament results.

To Tsany

.. aight, since hbk is head of tsany its cool whatever his decision is but.. uh..

IN MY HONEST OPINION...

ELI you should NOT be in TSA NY. To my knowledge you were let in by Alex Strife, not HBK. Granted your information and whatever else was sent to WoZ, again in my opinion, you are not up to TSA NY's standards.

SLH is better than you Eli, from what I've seen and my past experiences. Hes pending, why? Because we haven't played with him yet. You were told (in my knowledge HBK) that you were going to be pending. Alex decided for you to just "be in."

Gordon and yourself, you're both good players, dont get me wrong... but you definitely b!tched to join. Alex made the decision when he had no right to.

I've had this gripe about you ever since you put on that TSA signature. You have no tact, and I feel like because you post with that signature, you THINK... keyword, THINK, you are hot ****!

I think HBK is a huge softey and hes cool for that but I mean.. as a member, a starting member of TSA NY, I think that I should just have some sort of say in the process of this ludacris happening.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not completely @$$ing out your chances of joining. I'm just saying come to more practices that me, alejandro, hazz, hbk have eventually.

But TSANY should be based on skill, not this "I'm whatever's name's friend, he should definitely be in because hes my friend."

End-
Reno

But TSANY should be based on skill, not this "I'm whatever's name's friend, he should definitely be in because hes my friend."
