I'm aware of the CCX tourney this weekend which I may or may not make (there's a VG expo near me that has Jack Thompson as a panel member, I'm getting some buddies to write counter-questions his his anti-videogame ideals), as well as Smashtaclysm next weekend. Is there something I'm forgetting?

Final travel costs:

Gas Budget: $60 per car, including tolls. Everyone in Do's Van gives $10, and everyone in Lone's car gives $12. Hell, I'm sure Lone doesn't mind if you just give him $10.

Hotel Budget: $50 per room. We all need to pitch in exactly, and each room as 4, so please give about $13, with someone giving $14.

Building Fee: $10 to enter the building. Whether you're in the tournament or not, you need to pay the door fee for entrance.

With all this, everyone is going to need to bring approximately $35, outside of registration and food costs. Please keep this in mind when preparing for our trip on Saturday.

I'm bringing my own food for the weekend just to conserve money cause like money is tight.

I'm also curious how everything is going to happen as far as when we are leaving exactly, and if we can have housing (me and alex) the night before so we don't have to leave super earlier in the morn to meet up with everyone. I know we're going in lone's car so if anyone has any suggestions for me let me know, please.

For those in the Pak-Mobile, costs should be similar to this so bring your moneys.

My car should also be in the same hotel on the same floor as the main branch caravan :-). Also, I don't mind overloading our room with people from velocity's car, but they have to pay for the room too. Shotgun bed.

Did you guys own Jack Thompson?

I managed to get him to slip up about the difference between causation and corelation, among other things. Every time he couldn't think of something intelligent he said something to the effect of "tell that to the families of dead cops". The funniest thing he said was "the point of that cop-killing game, which I don't think needs naming, is to kill as many police officers as you can before you die or time runs out".

He was corrected on that by the other panel members, but it was still hilarious.
