It's exactly what it sounds like, post in-depth ideas for semi-clones. They can be as distant as Isabelle/Luigi, or as similar as Ken/Chrom/Doc.

For my movesets, I'll leave most of their non-battle animations and aeshetics up to the imagination.

Waddle Dee is heavier than Kirby, being a midweight, and is also faster. However, Waddle Dee suffers from being a lot weaker. However, he has a new projectile that may be one of the best in the game.

Dash attack changed to Kirby’s trip attack from Smash 64

Waddle Dee has Jigglypuff’s nair instead of Kirby’s

Waddle Dee only has two jumps, but Cutter reaches higher.

The hammer is a non-chargeable move, with the power of a half-way-there Kirby hammer charge.

Waddle Dee can do the Melee hammer flip

Waddle Dee’s neutral B is the spear throw. He pulls out three spears, you can then change their arch up and down while moving left and right before releasing. These 3 spears are some of the most powerful and ranged non-chargable projectiles in the game and, just like when he encounters a Waddle Dee in the Kirby games, Kirby cannot copy this power.

Stone takes more damage to break, but is also less powerful and bigger

Bandana Waddle Dee is an alternate costume, but like Hero doesn't get a unique name.

The psychic princess of Osohe Castle borders the line between midweight and heavyweight. Her attacks are slow and strong compared to Lucas' swift but fleeting attacks. Being a teenager instead of a pre-teen she stands taller than the PSI-boys.

Kuma's grab, pummel and throws are taken from Mewtwo - this is with the exception of her down throw, where she instead uses one of Duster's wall staples to pin the foe into the ground. This throw functions a lot like R.O.B.'s

Kuma's side smash has her pull out a dagger and do a direct stab forwards.

Kuma's back air spikes

Kuma's up smash now has her create fireworks, the fireworks linger so she can throw foes into them if she's fast enough

Kuma's down smash now aesthetically resembles PSI Ground

Kuma has Ness' forward tilt.

Kuma doesn't have PSI Magnet, but instead uses PSI Vacuum from 3DS/Wii U.

Violet is an alternate costume. Despite being the same character she gets a unique announcer call.

Kuma has a unique extra idle animation when fighting against Lucas, that being her using Lucas' old fist waving idle from Brawl, 3DS, and Wii U to playfully mock him.

Toc-Man is an ultraheavyweight, much bigger and a little stronger but a lot slower than Pac-Man. He does not transform into a ball/pizza shape.

Toc-Man's down-air is a "butt bash", which functions like PM Wario's Dair.

Toc-Man's nair functions like Duck Hunt's as a cartwheel.

Toc-Man doesn't use the Mappy trampoline, but rather a "target" trampoline from the World games. This trampoline disappears with time instead of use and goes as high as the first bounce of Pac-Man's trampoline.

Toc-Man's dash attack is the Rev Roll

Toc-Man's down tilt resembles Ness'

Toc-Man's fire hydrant is a three-sided turret instead - it shoots fire that can also harm Toc like the On-Fire Hydrant from 3DS/Wii U

Toc-Man's Smash attacks feature villains from Namco games - Up Smash features Goro from Mappy, Side Smash features Fygar from Dig Dug, who breathes fire for some extra range, and down Smash features a Pooka from Dig Dug and a Mewkie from Mappy

Toc-Man uses a mixture of the Bone-Idle and Freaky Fruit, making his Neutral B a lot more unpredictable. Instead of arcade-era sprites, they use the compressed BMP sprites from PMW on PS1.

Up tilt is a claw swipe upwards

Instead of Toc-Man, Orson claps upon loss.

Here's a few Sonic ones for ya.
The greatest creation of Gerald Robotnik possess the same stats as Sonic-height, weight, speed, etc.

Shadow has two specials that differ from Sonic-Chaos Control and Light Speed Dash.

Chaos Control is seemingly similar to Mewtwo's Up B. However, what makes it different is that, if the move is activated next to another player, Shadow will kick the opponent in the direction that the player is holding. This will send them in that direction, and unless their damage is extremely high, Shadow will reappear right where they are and send them flying again in the direction which he is holding. This means that he could use the move onstage next to an opponent, kicking them offstage before spiking them down. However, this move has more startup than any other teleport Up B in the game, since Shadow has to pull out the Emerald and yell the magic words.

Light Speed Dash has Shadow throw out a ring right in front of him, sort of like how Sonic does in Battle. This projectile will despawn after hitting an opponent or another object (very weak damage and knockback, think the glass of Holy Water for example) or touching the ground. If B is pressed again, Shadow will zoom towards the Ring in an animation similar to Falco's Side B. This can cut through the stage as long as the Ring never touched said stage. The after-images Shadow creates that mark his path will be visible and set up for a combo if they hit an opponent. Shadow will enter freefall after using the move in the air.

Down tilt is changed to the Fire Somersault from SA2. Works kind of like Dedede's down tilt.

Down Smash is the Tornado Kick from 06. During the windup, Shadow gets into position to perform a sweep kick, and nearby opponents are pulled in by a weak-ish windbox. When the move is activated, Shadow kicks all around him in a breakdance motion for a very strong yet very slow Smash attack.

Forward tilt has him backhand the opponent with his fist, which emanates purple Chaos energy-a move seen in Battle.

Throws involve the guns from his solo game. Down throw has him pin the opponent on the ground with his shoe while they take a pistol round to the face. Back throw has him use a Vacuum Pod to push them away. Forward throw has him throw the opponent forward before firing an Omochao gun, who gives a random Smash-related tip before exploding in the opponent's face. And up throw-the strongest one-has him throw up the opponent before firing off two rounds of the Shadow Rifle.

Final Smash is Super Shadow, who uses Chaos Blast-which is a slightly bigger and stronger version of a fully charged Magic Blast from Hero.

The soulless counterpart to Sonic is a bit heavier and slower than the hero he imitates.

Neutral air is taken straight from Mewtwo.

Forward tilt is taken from Wolf, as well as Jab and up throw.

His forward air has him burst fire from his jet engine middle, though it gives him some backward momentum midair like a stronger version of the pushback from Mii Gunner's fair.

Down Special is the impenetrable Black Shield. Metal puts it up, and if anyone attacks it, they'll be launched back as Metal emanates electricity from all crevices of his robotic design. If it is activated while he has momentum in a certain direction, he will continue to put up the Black Shield as he moves in that direction. The shield stays up for a good second before powering down.

Up Special is a quick jump with his jet boosters. This can be activated twice in midair, does not put him into freefall after the first one, and is very similar to his already existing double jump. However, he does go into freefall after the second use of the move.

For his throws, he locks himself into a contraption similar to the one seen in his Mania boss fight, as a Silver Sonic (GG/MS) robot appears and grabs the opponent with it's long, elastic-like arm. From there, Metal makes the other Eggman copy robots do his bidding using this machine.

For his forward throw, Mecha Sonic (3&K) appears and elbow bashes the opponent. For his down throw, Silver Sonic (2) appears and spindashes the opponent on the ground, similarly to Sonic's down throw (but looking much more brutal). For his back throw, Metal Knuckles appears, who skewers the opponent with his metallic knuckles and swings them overhead before slamming them on the ground behind him. And for his up throw, Silver Sonic (GG/MS) throws up the opponent as Tails Doll spookily appears just where the opponent is thrown. The red stone attached to his head flashes, stunning the opponent, allowing for Metal Sonic to follow up. After each of these throws, SIlver Sonic (GG/MS) jet boosts offscreen.

For his Final Smash, he can transform into one of two stronger versions of himself. If the button is simply tapped, he turns into the revised Metal Sonic Kai seen in Sonic Mania, who is too large to see the full body of. He then boosts offstage, launching anyone in his path. This will kill opponents around 70-80%. If the button is held, he will turn into Neo Metal Sonic, which is a transformation Final Smash akin to Warioman.

I think Magus from Chrono Trigger would make a really cool semiclone of Sephiroth. Sephiroth floats for his run, uses shadow magic, and has really long range on his sword that could translate well for scythe moves.

I really, really don’t think Castlevania needs to add another Belmont but if it ever happens I think their side special should be throwing a dagger instead of an axe. The dagger wouldn’t do as much damage but it would go way further and he could throw two at a time. His whip could also be a rope unlike Simon and Richter’s chain whip.

The extra Belmont would probably be Trevor or someone like him IDK

Two characters is more than my limit for a third party- I don't think Castlevania should have gotten a second character.
I certainly don't feel Chun Li should be added.

I'm aware of what I said.
I'd prefer we didn't get any second character from a third party franchise.
Since that obviously isn't what happened- it's irrelevant. A third is far too much.
