Nowhere in the rules does it say that you can't assume a Quick Claw to work on the first try. Rhyperior is able to move first and uses Rock Wrecker on Charizard. Charizard, having a double weakness to Rock and no Defense EVs, is knocked out. If you had to assume that Rhyperior is switching in, it would be clear that Charizard is attacking Abomasnow, and is obviously using a Fire attack, which is not lethal, regardless of the Expert belt. Or so I believe. Simple and clean. Easy to see.

That's not a 100% counter for 9litch's Tyranitar. You will be taking 92.88%-109.40% from its Stone Edge. Also, Tyranitar has 221 Speed, while your no-Speed Heracross only has 206, which means you could OHKOed by SE while switching in, and if not, will immediately be outsped and KOed.

Hmm... I've already used Gliscor and Weezing to counter Heracross... I guess I'll use:

The only thing that resists so many attacks...I didn't put it through a damage calculator, but I'm pretty sure it can take a couple Surfs (Starmie's only attack that isn't ineffective), especially once it gets a Light Screen up. Protect in case it needs to stall for more life via Leftovers.

...This is just screaming for an EQ counter...

A counter has to be able to switch in saftley. Alakazam is OHKO'd by Earthquake, stone edge and 2HKO'd by ice shard I think (Ice shard always goes first so alakazm would die anyways if he switched in on it.)
