I'm a big Sophitia fan, the chances of her appearing in Brawl are slim to none, but her & Kilik are my favourite SC characters ever.

I'd be pretty happy if she turned up in Brawl, but there are other characters like Megaman or Bomberman who will get priority, & an SC character just has a very small chance.

I guess I don't want this to turn into Super 3rd party all platform Bros Brawl, so sticking to 3 or 4 3rd party characters in a good thing. The only way Bomberman will get in is if Nintendo allow just 1 more 3rd party character, after the alleged "only 1 or 2 more" in. If you ask me, Megaman has the most chance, & that's the 3 3rd party character maximum.

I have decided to ignore him if he continues to be like that and we should all ignore him too, if we need to talk on him go to the Erika Nagai boards, here is for Soul Calibur characters and their chances at Brawl.

SC is not Mortal Kombat as it is a japanese franchise, they have swords but not gore. And with Link being in the SC, that is a good chance to see someone from SC in Brawl, unless Pacman gets to be the Namco rep.

Yeah next to Sophitia and Cassandra, I see Yoshimitsu as the next SC character with more chances to be in Brawl since he is not such a serious character and like Voldo, is one of those described as of "bizzarre values" who could well fit into the chaotic nature of SBB.

I just dislike it when close minded fanboys say that "this or that" character can't get in and they start with the flames, it is too annoying. And they are in for giving insults but not taking them.

In terms of violence, I specifically meant Nightmare, Astaroth, and Mitserugi, and arguably Voldo, who radiate it, or at least adult themes. It's not much, I'm a big SC player so I know it's not much, but it's enough to get parents mad...

I really don't see SC as a hyper violent franchise like those of the west (Mortal Kombat) despite they use swords and such. So my guess is that any SC character can fit in good into Brawl, specially since they are japanese characters.

If anything hyperviolent western characters are the ones who might have trouble getting into Brawl, mainly because they are made in the west.

BTW, does anyone think that we should keep using this thread to speak on SC in Brawl in general? Or that we should forget about it and create individual SC character threads?

Well, to be fair, SC tends to be a 15+/16+ rates game series. The characters are not part of Brawl's target audience. I know most of us here have obviously played & loved SC, & we're part of the target audience too, but remember that a huge part of Smash Bros fanbase will still be younger people, it's for everyone. I mean, i know it's a T rating, but that never stops kids from playing it now does it?

I'm just saying, target audiences don't always match.

On the subject at hand, while I agree on the whole "SC is sorta-upper-teen" thing, keep in mind that the subject matter can be toned down for Brawl - you don't hear Snake cursing or Otacon wetting himself. Sophitia in her SCII costume would be perfect - not only content-wise, but because it's the game where Link appeared.
