Well I was looking around the boards, and noticed there was not one about this; so I decided to create this one.
OK this thread was made to talk about characters from the SNK/Playmore company, who we would like to see on Brawl.
Maybe a reason of why Sonic made it to Brawl, was because now Nintendo and Sega work together specially in the Virtual Console area, where we download Genesis games. And which is the latest gaming system with titles for download on the VC? The Neo Geo, which was part of the company back when it was just SNK. OK so could this be a hint that the third 3rd party character might come from SNK?
Meanhile this is confirmed or not, let's talk about SNK characters who deserve to be in Brawl.
OK here I go with my candidates.
1.- Kyo Kusanagi.
Why him? Because he is SNK's mascot and main character of their crossover series The King of Fighters. The KOF games were one of the first crossover games made, which helped paved the way for games like the Smash Bros series. And who better to represent SNK than the main character of their universal series than Kyo Kusanagi? That is why he is my top SNK candidate for Brawl.
2.- Terry Bogard.
The reason he is my second candidate is because before Kyo he used to be SNK's mascot and is quite a versatile character/fighter. Still an icon for SNK.
3.- Athena Asamiya
She is my favorite SNK female character and used to be the company's first mascot before Terry: that is why she is my third candidate. Brawl needs more female characters and she is very charismatic for the role. She could be in either KOF form or "bikini goddess" mode.
4.- Ryo Yamazaki
Not much of a favorite of mine, but since he is overall SNK's third most important character, he deserves something.
And now the lesser candidates:
5.- Iori Yagami
He is Kyo's rival, he is quite popular with people and some say he should be in Brawl instead of Kyo as he is more of a violent fighter.
6.- Mr. Karate
Ryo's father in disguise, he has been used as a boss on SNK VS Capcom so maybe he could fit.
7.- Geese Howard
Despite being dead, Geese sure is an iconic bad guy of SNK. And Brawl could use more players from the dark side.
8.- Mai Shiranui
SNK's main female character! Because she is like what Chun Li is for Capcom, she deserves a chance at Brawl to have more great female characters.
9.- Fio
She is from the Metal Slug series. She is my favorite character from the games, that is why I am placing her in.
10.- Leona
She is a very strong female character, that is why I see her as a candidate for Brawl. She kinda like the female Iori.
11.-Ralph
12.- Clark
These guys are the Ikari Warriors, their games appeared on the NES, that is why I consider them candidates.
13.-Rugal
He is considered the most iconic bad guy of the KOF games, that is why he might be Brawl material.
14.- Orochi
SNK's ultimate boss. Enough said.
15.- Haomaru
He is the main character of the Samurai Showdown games, and has been in some crossovers.
16.-. Nakoruru
17.- Rimururu
Female characters from Samurai Showdown. Nakururu is iconic while Rimrururu is younger that is why.
