seems like it. Several things point to this:
1) their sigs
2) jams pic of SDB + joe and will
3) wills opinion of top 4 in SY
4) Kones line up, the 5th person is ***. same number of stars as letters in joe's name
I wouldnt be so bothered had they told us, but since they haven't, its pretty **** of them.

tbh I don't really mind if joe and will are SDB, it just would've been nice to have told us instead of regular hints. I'd like to think we deserve that much.

Well this reduces us to not being the largest Crew in the UK then and puts SDB up there, lol.
It doesn't really matter if they have or haven't, but like Aiko, I would have liked to know as well lol, I liked being in the same crew as them.
Also: I should be at a fest after ALT, getting my Laptop buffed up so low on money. I'll leave more information when I know more.

Thought I ought to post this to get it out in the open. J03 and Will have joined SDB. I phoned him earlier and he confirmed it for me. I'm pretty disappointed for one. Like foulplay, I also liked being in the same crew as them and now smash yakuza has two less players. Two of our best players as well. Just when I was starting to like SY after I was one of the people who didn't want to merge etc

If Will and Joe want to join DB I'm not going to hold it against them. They're still Will and Joe at the end of the day. I do however take great insult at not being told about it and finding out myself.
BTW: SDB were always bigger than SY. They have a lot of players who are not so serious about the game from all over the country.

I don't mind going to wills and joes to play smash. They're no different in SDB than they were in SY.

There isn't any real difference in the layout of NorthWestern players. There shouldn't be much a difference in the way they're hosted at the moment. Will and Joe till turn up to Liverpool so it would be rude to not turn up to theirs.

I was meaning more of the fact if they still are hosting fests or not, I wasn't aware that they were.
They haven't posted here since the whole SDB thing arose.
It doesnt matter in general, traveling is the same price.

Yes but still they should post as it has been a while since the whole sdb thing started and J03 does usually post fairly regularly. Still a little annoyed at them as crews at ALT might happen and whilst SY has lost 2 players, sdb have gotton 2. I've been talking to some people in SY that say they don't event want to play in crews anymore.

It's not about if SY want crews, or the general smash going community want crews to happen or not. The hosts choice will determine if it happens or not. If they wanna be influenced by people, fair play.
Don't act like this is a major thing, people leave crews, join crews and change crews all the time. I wish them all the best in SDB and hold nowt against them for making the swap.
I wouldn't worry much about crews, SDB can easily field five players better than Joe or Will (Provided they have a decent turnout) and SY can still put together a decent 4/5 man lineup without them.
I do have one question though: The majority of the bolton sect of SY has joined SDB. However Will and Joe both did their best to make sure Golfball was included in the SY roster. What happens to Golfball now Will and Joe have joined SDB? Does he stay SY, is he SDB or is he crewless?

I think any STFU members are welcome in SY provided they take an interest in smash. As far as I'm aware, only joe and will have made the move.

what a roller-coaster. yup its true, me and will have joined SDB. it changes nothing lads, it was fun leaving hints about the place and starting rumours. we joined for numberous reasons that are not for the public eye >_0.
but aye, SDB is all brawl these days so its safe to say we didnt join because of smash. once upon a time i was invited to join SDB. i was in STFU, if i left id have left my baby (STFU). also what about the other members, i didnt want to leave because we needed a top 4 and i was in that.
one day STFU merged with WOC and formed SY. my worries of leaving had gone ^_^. personally i would have loved to wait till ALT and betray SY just before SY vs SDB. would have been amazingly funny.
but there should be no hard feelings lol. theres no loyalty issues, its not like being in SDB is different then being in SY. bottom line is the guys in SDB are more like minded to me. how many of you guys would love to chill, with a beer and a Spliff and just laugh lol. im SDB at heart lads always have been.

tbh guys, I don't care that you joined. It was inevitable the only question was when. I feel like your post explained absolutely nothing to me.
What I wanted to know (And I think everyone else is the same) is why you thought you'd be a **** and play about leaving hints and **** instead of being a man about the whole situation and outright telling us.

Haha thought this might arise. Well like you've already said you don't think it's a big deal i mean it was inevitable right? and it doesnt change anything. Thought we'd just make a few obvious hints seen as how it wasnt a big deal. and don't think changing crews mean i changed team partners.

hold on one second here J03 + Will, I don't like how your playing this down so much. Don't get me wrong, your still both my mates and I'll still play smash with you but I still think it's well harsh on the rest of the crew of you leaving. Can't we at least get an appology? Leaving our crew and not even telling us and thinking it would be 'fun' to drop hints and crap. It's pretty **** of you to do that. J03, you were the one who wanted to merge crews and a few months later you drop us all of for sdb? Are we not good enough or something? Guys, you've missed the point I was trying to make. You leaving SY for SDB was not a big deal. You not telling us straight up that you had done so is.
