The Melee community in Mexico has come together to present its event roster for 2017 to the world. Having grown impressively over the past couple of years as a whole, community leaders and TOs from all over the country have assembled and created a community back room.
Its first release? A calendar showcasing Mexico's upcoming tournaments this year.
Detailing 12 events, most of them occurring in the first half of the year, the calendar intends to inform the community at large about said events. An updated version is scheduled for release at the second half of the year as more tournaments are announced and lock in their dates. It will also serve as reference for tournaments that will be considered for ranking purposes.
Upcoming events to look out for are Smash Factor Toluca, the recently announced spring national featuring Anti and The Moon among others; The Hazard 2.0, home to last year's epic showdown between Javi and Eddy Mexico that ended with a winning misfire; a newly teased Smash party by La Gema in July; and the country's biggest national, Smash Factor 6 in August.
According to the backroom, the Mexican community is eager to welcome any and all players that wish to come to any of the multiple events they will be having across the country this year.
