I've noticed that some provinces have their own respective threads so I figured I'd make one for Manitoba

The scene in Manitoba is mostly Melee and P:M (some people play brawl, but from what I've seen they're few and far between).
Otherwise just introduce yourself and or converse with other Manitobans here.

Somebody's hosting a Brawl tournament this Friday at Tim Hortins. Can you guys try to convince him to host Melee as well?

Figured I'd bump this with some updated information on the Manitoba smash scene.

Brandon now hosts a weekly Project M tournament at the university called Charizard Valley. It runs on Thursdays at SUDS starting at 6pm.

A Sm4sh/melee monthly was also started in Brandon, you can find the details to that on https://www.facebook.com/groups/974389852632200/

The Western Manitoba scene here in Brandon is better than ever.

We're currently running a Tuesday weekly with Project M, Sm4sh, and Melee that has a $2 buy-in per game.
It starts at 6pm on the Brandon University campus in the Elephant Room.

We've also still got our free Project M weekly event, Charizard Valley. That runs every Thursday and starts at 6pm.
We run the event in SUDS on the BU campus, and it has singles and doubles.

There are also 2 monthly tournament series here in Brandon.
WestMan Smash Monthlies run PM, Sm4sh, and Melee at I Want That Stuff.
Charizard Canyon runs PM exclusively with multiple events, and is hosted at SUDS.
