It's actually an underestimated move in vBrawl. It's really good when you use it on an opponent that is near the ledge, cause if they shield, you'll just knock them off the ledge and they'll get caught in the last hits.

that sounds kinda nice actually. but i would never use it again a char like marth or d3 that close to the edge... they may end up shield grabbing it and then will throw you off the stage. youre in trouble then. TOO risky :D

Playing in traning mode I came up with an idea. I found out luigi won't go into upb in the middle of an initial dash animation, but you can buffer it to come out as soon as initial dash ends. This is pretty quick and Im sure could be really suprising, not to mention it's just outside the range of snake's ftilt1.

Im also playing around with the slide at the end of a full dash, into a sheild cancel shoryu. But does anyone know if the shield comes out faster out of a slide or a full dash?

Actually nevermind that last part, just upb straight out of a run is probably better than out of a slide every time.

Can you do a SJP in the middle of the initial dash if you Jump Cancel? Just use a Jump Canceled SJP during his sliding animations and they'll come out instantly. I assume you have Tap Jump Off.

And wow...seriously? Did I D-air -> N-air that much? That's odd, cause like in most matches I just spam D-air without the N-air lol.

1:28 - 1:35 -> dair missed, you nair ; then dair blocked, you still nair
1:42 -> dair missed, you nair
2:10 -> dair missed, you nair
3:37 - 3:48 -> dair missed but he's far, you ffad, then dair's blocked, you nair, then dair spam till it works.
It's a pattern to me, you use dair to bait and gauge your opponent then adapt ; and nair's often the best solution. I do it with the fireball, no johns, except my "best option" afterward is safe on block and I still mix it up, unlike the sex bomb. If Big O adapted you would've taken 60-80 more %

Now that I look at it carefully, I played pretty darn poorly and got away with it with some clutch mindgames.

I loled at how I didn't get punished for using Green Missile cuz one time it ducked under his F-smash. I was betting on either that, or a misfire that match srsly.

I also find it hilarious when I just walk up to people and Up-B them and it works. I rarely Jab Up-B ever.

[/quote]Awesome completion of a Meet the Parents quotable. Anyway, yeah, you can Jump Cancel into any action that uses the Analog Up (like uSmash or up specials) WITHOUT jumping. And, of course, you can Jump Cancel into an actual jump/hop and continue from there... it all cancels Luigi's sliding animation (and apparently the initial dash too).

Nah, kansas is way too far. We went to kahoka for the first event there, and it was just too far to be worth it. Plus they didn't seem to like us much.

We'll be doing tournaments in louisville and lexington for a while. School is back up and most of us can't devote that kind of time.

It's ****ing beautiful too. Not more than an hour ago I had a sonic spinning up a hypno-smash in my face, and I just walked to just out of his range and waited for the "GO!", dashed in and **** canceled him. I nearly jizzed my pants.
