I decided that we, the Luigi board, have yet to have a properly structured and well done archive of information. However, the standard thread providing links to other's information simply shall not to. As such, my wishes is that this thread shall be a testament to the very decency and respect owed to the board as a whole. It is my sole wish that this thread act as a monument welcoming others to our sanctioned community and yet serve the purpose as a well thought out and collected database of archived information. As such, it is in my great honor to present this literary tribute to the very essence of the Luigi board community.

Before I proceed to index and present links to threads in this forum, I wish to apologize before hand for a few reasons.

First, to those who have done this 'type' of thread before. I do not wish to insult your own works by saying that we are without one. I just wish to share what I view as important and create a testament to the whole community providing information to the character as an individual rather then an instrument.

Secondly, to those who are the authors of the articles and posts which I describe and provide a hyperlink to. Under the circumstances that the authors publicly released their own individual thoughts, I assume that it is not a problem if I simply inform the readers with a summary and an easier way to access their thoughts. Regardless, if anyone wishes that their own ideas I present should be absent, please PM me and I shall swiftly take the needed action to suit their own wishes.

And now, for the archive of information itself. This is a a tribute I wish to deem as an entity, and as such, I ask the community to please contribute and work together to expand this beyond the simple means of hyperlinks.

When any viewer travels to the Luigi boards, it is not an outlandish claim to state that this thread is the first piece of writing that we, the Luigi community, deem important. As such, we have proceeded to sticky it and update it frequently. locuan128 has given us this great guide and article to the Luigi community, and in return the community has given back it's thanks and gratitude by holding it within the most high regards. As such, this thread should never be one absent from the minds who wish to read more from the collective works of the Luigi community.

Another stickied article, this thread presents us with the necessary thoughts on the match-ups of Luigi as well as great contributions from the community as a whole. The final sticky, this thread, authored by Wtfwasthat, presents us with a compilation of YouTube hosted videos focusing on Luigi's combat. This thread serves as an archive of indexed hyperlinks providing sources of knowledge and information about Luigi. Great players have posted their own feats, and as such, the views and commemorations are given back from the community as a whole.

locuan128 has yet again given us another view of his thoughts providing us with a compilation of strategies, techniques, and maneuvers that a Luigi user should be aware of. Mastery over the documented knowledge is, simply stated, a bare necessity that shall improve the practitioner's own skills with Luigi. This is a well-written guide explaining many pieces of Luigi's combat that many do not recognize.

hippiedude92 has compiled a collected database indicating the percents at which Luigi can KO an opponent with a sweet-spotted Fire Jump Punch. This is essential to know so that you can work your strategy's on an opponent and ultimately KO at the lowest possible percent.

My own thread explaining the fundamentals of Luigi's ground-to-aerial relationship, it has gotten few replies but positive feedback. I believe that it has some depth and presents some good ideas and knowledge.

hippiedude92 has given us a thread in which newcomers can discuss and ask questions in order to fully understand Luigi as a player. This is a nice discussion thread that is worth checking out and participating in.

SparkEd has written a well crafted FAQ explaining and answering various questions related to Luigi's aspects in the competitive area. As such, this is a must read as many newcomer questions shall be answered in this thread!
http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=190139
SparkEd has written a more updated version of the somewhat stale matchup thread. As such, this is in dire need of being checked out and if all goes as planned, this thread will be a hotspot for competitive Luigi discussion!

That is all I have at the moment for hyperlinks, and as such, I shall regularly update this thread. Please, contribute and share your views. This thread was not made for my own benefit but as a testament and contribution to the Luigi community. Hope you enjoyed ^_^

Wishing Apex 2012 happened again.
This is what we need. STICKY NAOS GO GOOGGOGOGOGOOGGOOGOGo.

Edit: are you sure you can keep this updated often? Because I don't see you online very often and also because many of the threads are starting to pile up and we maybe posting so many threads it'll just get lost.

Here's another thread that's worth putting in.

It's my Q&A discussion for people to ask questions and such.

Here's sparked's link to a beginner faqs. Really helpful and worth putting in the directory thingy.

Sorry it's been a week since I was on, I am usually on every day but I almost shattered my ribs and wrists so I have been unable to go on the computer... I am sorry!

Regardless, I wish to keep this thread running and PROMISE to make it better. However, it still hurts to type for a few more days so I don't think I can do some maintenance...

I just realized that I didn't make a title of each thread...so you don't know what it is before you click it... Does anyone possibly have the time to quote my post and add in the titles of each thread and then possibly PM it to me? I will include them in the credits. If not, I will just numb my hands and do it myself. Thanks a lot!
