Nah I'm not really a fan of the spinoffs tbh, just the main series DQ games. If I wanted to play a game like that I'd play Pokemon or DQ5.
cmart good news! Sprint 3G may be capped now but 4G is still unlimited. And guess what town has extensive 4G coverage? Laurel! Well maybe it's not a big deal to you, but it means we'll have solid backup internet if the internet at our apartment sucks or is limited or whatever.

I also hope the diversity is better than DQMJ. DWM2 had quite the library, so I liked that one.

I didn't know anyone even knew about the DQM games aside from hardcore DQ lovers like me. Maybe I will look into it. I won't have my 3DS this weekend though so it's kinda null.
And I've also been playing Xenoblade pretty much nonstop for the past month and will probably start over with New Game+ as soon as I finish (because it's THAT good), so I haven't had a lot of time for other games

I... don't have a DS or any handheld console for that matter. I've always emulated them. (Some games don't work well and then I wish I had the system, but then I just let it go and put the game on my "To play in 10 years" list.)

Anyone who's coming tomorrow bring some chairs unless you like the floor. Spare chairs are somewhat in short supply.
Power strips are also probably going to be a good idea considering we'll probably have ~ 5-6 set ups ideally.

This weekend was like a smash dream that wouldn't end. But it has of course. Hoping to see a lot of the attendees (glick, guru, neko, Ryoko, etc) more frequently cuz that was way too fun

This was more fun than a national. I can't wait till cmart and I get a place together so we can have a permanent smash house.

Unfortunate that Wenzel and I only attended ~8 hours. I didn't get to play Guru or Glick or Yeroc or Player 2 that day. And my tournament bracket consisted only of people I've played before, but I'm sure the chance will arrive again some day. (Also the ramp from 66 to 495N was blocked due to construction. Wenzel hates VA roads.)
On other news, Shell Shocked is currently planned on the 29th; we're still awaiting room confirmation because the lady who works there is being very unresponsive.

This weekend was a blast, and it couldn't have happened with all of you guys. Thank you to everyone who showed up. The only downside was that Umbreon and Count Kaiser couldn't be there as well. Their loss though, cause they missed out on something great.
That being said, SHOUTOUTS:
~JCaesar, cmart, and quinnydinny - Imperiar Region for rife! The cornerstone of the fest's success, it's always been a pleasure to play, chill, and just out and out shoot the **** with you guys.
~Ryoko - Very good to see you again. You were once again the main dominant force of the fest, and once again the main source of unintentional, deadpan hilarity. Also your characters are broke LOL. [spoilers]just kidding you just rock our socks[/spoiler]
~Yeroc - Why haven't I met you before? You just fit right in with everyone else, and you're just as chill irl as you are online. Don't be a stranger, I'd really like to hang with you again sometime soon.
~GuruKid - My dude, if only I could get you down here more often, life would just be better overall <3. Also Lucas is gay as ****.
~Glick - Needed more Wario lol. We have to play Guilty Gear or Street Fighter 4 next time.
~GHNeko - My Sonic bro, so disappointed you dropped Sonic full time for ZSS. I had a ton of fun trolling each other in Sonic Colors and trolling Ryoko with Sonic sing-a-longs.
~Kiri - Man where were you at? Step up your socialization skills. Hope you had a good time despite it though, just watch out for those blazing wings.
~Vigilante Blade - We finally meet after all this time. Come back down soon, cause you know America da bess you ever had.

~Buffalo Wild Wings - Eat a **** for the quality of food and service.
Ryoko brought up the idea of doing something like this a few times each year. I would be more than ok with that (though it probably won't work at my place again unless the folks decide to travel again).
Also someone left a striped sweater (grey and a lighter shade of grey) with an eagle insignia on the front as well as a Wiimote that I believe says GHN (I think I have a faint inclination as to who's that might be).
