Ok, last one. didn't do specific locations because I was lazy and a good number of floors just had one chest in them anyway.

Emerald World of Gloom lv 86

floor 3
~ mini medal

floor 4
~ Gleeban Gold Piece

floor 5
~ Orichalcum

floor 6
~ Gleeban Gold Piece

floor 7
~ densinium
~ mini medal

floor 8
~ enchanted stone
~ Gleeban Gold Piece
~ mini medal

floor 9
~ Sainted soma

floor 10
~ Pandora's Box
~ Antidotal herb

TH: Those Emerald ones are both famous maps. 100% Gem Slimes = the single best way to earn money in the game, and the last one is Kawasaki's Locker. Good ****ing haul! Do want.

Bones: I work during the week. As fun as it sounds, I don't have time to drive all the way up there on a weeknight, sorry.

Niiiiice. I didn't know the actual map names for either of them. I should start grinding Kawasaki's Locker right now before you can get your hands on it >: ).

Also sorry Bones, I don't have much gas to spare just to get to work from day to day. I can't do any traveling to MD until I get paid again.

Also:

<Ryokoconut>: I wonder where the debates were when zelda was being developed
<Ryokoconut>: no one seemed to care that I looked over and tweaked just about everything she had :/
<Count_Kaiser>: Not many people use her, but then again, not many people use ness
<Thunderhorse>: and you didn't try to make arbitrary animation changes to her
<Thunderhorse>: you should've done that if you really wanted me to debate you so bad
<Ryokoconut>: hmm
<Ryokoconut>: Maybe I will, then.
<Ryokoconut>: only because I like you so much
<Thunderhorse>: <3 u Ryoko
<Count_Kaiser>: I thought you liked JC, ryoko
<Ryokoconut>: it was only to make him feel uncomfortable
<Count_Kaiser>: lol
<Thunderhorse>: what can I say? The man has taste
<Ryokoconut>: I don't think I could keep interest in a ROB main.
Damn, used from the start :(. Although lol at the last line.

<Ryokoconut>: I don't think I could satisfy a ROB main.

There, fixed that last line for him.

The concert was siiiick. Ted Nugent always puts on a great show. I can't hear a thing today. Can't say I regret seeing him over going to Otakon, though I wish I could've done both.

Well I think the main point of Kawasaki's Locker is to use the timer to get exactly what you want, rather than just grinding over and over. Hell, the Sapphire World of Joy we found has more top level chests than Kawasaki's.

Well I'm not exactly sure how the timers works, but I think you can go in a certain pattern through KL to get a bunch of amazing stuff very quickly. It's a very thoroughly studied map because of how widespread it is. We'll probably have to do some research though (and most of it is in Japanese unfortunately).

Neko has black hair.
And is black.

Brawl is so much fun when you're not playing competitively. Or at least, when there's no planking/Metaknight. Really, I have a ton of fun with regular Brawl when neither of those happen.

FFAs and teams are hilarious.

Still way too slow, hitstun canceling is ********, and not enough dexterity required. And of course lol tripping and footstools.

If they got rid of that, I'd be pretty ok with it, but then it wouldn't be Brawl.

FFA and teams are the worst, but that's true whether it's Melee or Brawl.

Yep, because I certainly like being punished for making the correct move or being forced to purposely drop combos/extra damage for a reason other than I ****ed up and deserved to have the combo or follow-up dropped.

Yes
Seriously tho you just have to play the game a little differently. I may also be a sucker for coop play tho

The correct move in singles is not always the same thing as the correct move in doubles. Like cmart said, you have to play (and think) differently. I actually prefer doubles in a lot of ways, and I would say it's overall more challenging to excel at double because of the additional variables, though sometimes I do need the raw head-to-head skill test that you can only get in singles.

I GUESS...

I still had fun in non-serious vBrawl. And still do! But competitively, I would never, ever throw money anyone's way anymore.

took you guys long enough

@ ceez - dubs is definately a lot more crazy, 2 additional characters to keep track of, moves that are safe 1v1 arent necessarily safe anymore. you know i love dubs more ;)

Not for me. I can't leave VA since I'm almost completely broke thanks to Otakon and only have less than a half tank of gas, which'll only get me one way to Westminster and not back. Next weekend is no good either since I have a meeting on Saturday + I'm prety much forced to go drinking so that I can pay Clyde back in a timely manner (as I get paid next week on Wednesday).

I can still enjoy Kawasaki's Locker though :).

I thought that camping thing was this weekend?
In any case I kinda have family stuff this weekend (I haven't seen my new niece yet - she's gonna lose that new kid sparkle if I don't get on that) so I doubt I'm available.

so funny story, at least i think so

at otakon there were some guys handing out flyers for bitgen. i made small talk with one about the bands being there. He said they had all the best bg bands and i argued they didnt, no megas, no powerglove, no this place is haunted, etc. he was like "but we have entertainment systems." i then recanted my experience at magfest on how i didnt really like them live, but i liked their studio stuff. At that moment i recognized the guy as entertainment systems lead guitarist....he was not to happy at that moment.

this whole thing replayed with another flyer hander out guy, turns out he was the drummer. he was more understanding and laughed it off telling me about their next studio album.

so in 1 day i insulted half of entertainment systems.....lolz
