We take a few combinations of foods for granted. For example, a sandwich is really nothing more than a combination of cheeses, meats, breads, spreadables (mayo, butter, hummus, etc.), and other things.

Cereal is a pretty simple food with milk thrown in.

At the time, I bet these were considered pretty weird when they were first tried, but now no one would think otherwise.

What has any one done to mix-up foods in unique ways?

Taiwanese mountain tea, and a holiday dish called Zhong zi( rice dumplings) it's covered with long grain sticky rice and inside is BBQ beef and has bamboo leaf wrapped around it to give it that tea smell. Smell verrrrrrry awesome. Also, I like egg plant with Italian seasonings and cheese with maranara sauce all over it*taste better than sounds*

It totally depends on how u cook it, but egg plant originally doesn't have a strong flavor, so it isn't overpowering. It is good even for people who had it once no required taste.
