Personally, I find Sonics complexity to play one of his best and strongest aspects. Its the reason playing as him is so much fun, because he has many advanced techniques that take lots of developing, but the payoff is worth it! Sonic is the most advanced character I've ever played with in Smash Bros history and that really feels good. Thats why I laugh when people call Sonic cheap, because I know if they played Sonic, I could counter it because when you main a character, you quickly get a feel for their strengths and weaknesses.

A lot of people no longer consider Sonic as a cheap character these days. Infact, Sonic has a huge variety of techs. Being 'cheap' with Sonic will not get you anywhere at high level play

Still, it's satisfying to win with him

We just listen and face-palm. Then me and one or two others argue, and get ignored simply because of the character we main (because obviously low tier users have low intelligence :>), and because of the individuals in our group that give us a bad image, so just because a few people spam the boards means all of us are like that on here, obviously.

On topic, it's really only side/down B that are complex. I think we've figured everything else out with Sonic, except the spins, there's waaay too much depth to them.

I'm not very technical anyway, all I do is grab and u/dtilt :3

But they usually fall for simple traps and end up getting groped to death so it kind of bolsters their opinion.

Change your character profile to MK when argueing, they'll listen.

Quite effective playstyle. I srly ownd one of NC best Ike's in a friendly post tourney with feints and grabs. 194% to my 0% in about 2 mins. I learnd'd it from Tenki, xD

I however meant i watched what u was a'doin in ur wifi match vs Ike. Tricksies, set-ups, ect. Worked quite well.

And as for feints: sh, spin cancels, delayed cancels, Spinshot, spinshot sideB momentum stopage, ACS cancels, ASC mid distance continuations (idea from Tenki, xD, decided to fiddle with it a bit), dash dance, and waffling (what we have been calling doop walking at my weekly tourney, the TO called it that, and has it down so good, its hillarious.)
