I will be the rise of the sfl noels
Sorry, I sub Noel. I guess you can be second place.

Who is like Wario then??? I just thought Arakune looked cool cause he had a cool mask and is a blob
And are sticks expensive?
A stick is like $60-80 depending on what system you have. Arakune is the closest thing you'll get to Wario because he's running away for most of the match.

I want to try playing this game some day, Arakune looks cool. but I don't have a pad or the actual game :/
Is a pad necessary to be good at this game?

lol I definitely would want to play Arakune now
You only play wario like a *****.
Wario himself is a ****in man.

I say play Noel, the ****** lil girl that everyone picks cuz shes blonde with guns.

Real *****s either play the Jolly Green Giant, HAKOOman, or da ho wit a pole.

thing is...6cloop is easy

what im having difficulty doing is my mixup

i know that my overhead 6a>5d>invisible>6cloop>recurse 7000+dmg

and i know my low 2a>5b>5d>236A>6cloop>recurse 7000+dmg

and my airdash J.B holding back combos into a confirmd 5A>etcetcetc 6cloop

but everyone blocks everything i do...so i dont know what to do o.o as a reset. do i wait for them to make a mistake or just stage reset or keep attacking? i do not want to depend on situational cloud combos but instead be a legit arakune and actually combo from a confirm hit instead of a random hit from a cloud which i highly doubt good players fall for. cloudless arakune ftw

i have so many people to play around here but the scene is not very "active" like the only local tourney is every two tournies and the last one got canceled so i was like hmmm :\ and the scene meets up at ZP on fridays but LOL i go there and see melee/brawl o.o and wonderin where the blaz is at.

and the only person i have to practice with IS a hakumen but even then we do not practice unless its tourney day and when that day comes all we do is brush up our combos. what i lose to mainly is matchup inexperience and not knowing what is a low between a overhead thus eating unnecessary reset combos from jin/litchi etc etc.

i WANT to attend more tournies...how is the scene up north. do they have a good scene.
You can play online right? You can learn match up experience online.
CFL has a growing scene. I see new players all the time. Its pretty intense and the top players are pretty well defined right now. I'd say in my personal opinion, top 5 in CFL are Hotnix(Nu), Me(Nu), Senkei(Arakune), Dutch(Jin) and Casanova(Ragna). I would add Heirdern there but I have only seen him one tourney and im not sure if he is CFL.
You guys should take a trip on the next CFL tourney. Car pool. :O
Im considering visiting SFL for a tourney sometime if the attendence is at least decent(A 3 hour drive is not worth going if the pot is only like 20 dollars..lol)

I was really disapointed that despite Noel having two ****ing guns, she can't actually shoot anything. Its the most ******** thing ever.
Least in Melty Blood Sion has a gun and can actually shoot stuff.

No, everybody picks Noel because it's easy to spam D cuz of how Chain Revolver works... in reality Noel has some really ridic combos and some of a coolest looking **** in the game. I sub her only because of 6a 6c (bc) 6c (bc) 6c > chain revolver. She's awesome.

From what I've seen online most people end up picking Hakumen for some reason. That or Jin cuz you can spam ice car.

You guys should take a trip on the next CFL tourney. Car pool. :O
We go up to CFL all of the time... hell I was at the last Florida Gaming playing BB a bit.

You going to Winterfest? I'll be glad to take your money there. :)

Florida Gaming sucked pretty hard at BlazBlue. Its literally the only tournament I've seen that uses Xbox only. Most BlazBlue players play on the PS3. So it would'nt make much sense to have an xbox only tournament.
Hopefully Winterfest does'nt make the same mistake again.

Arakune hardly ever approaches PERIOD unless it'll lead to a curse or he has already cursed you. Nu is the only character who can put enough pressure on him to make him advance towards her.

Whats this suppose to mean?
Sorry im not getting it, maybe because it makes absolutely no sense.
It makes perfect sense.
Think about it harder.

This guy speaks the truth.
Arakune does not approach unless he has cursed you. Against Nu, he is forced to approach which is still a terrible idea but better than getting zoned the entire match

Its completely safe to assume that smash back room members actually care about the game and make intelligent discussions about the game, otherwise why the **** would they waste time in there?
End conclusion? Afro likes brawl.

Holy **** your stupid as ****.

I was added to the backroom for the huge MK vote, i have rarely posted in there after that. Besides that, adding into conversation about the game i play competitively doesnt mean i like it. Believe me if i wasnt winning i wouldnt play. And obviously they arent going to remove me as a top player from FL.

Anything else stupid to say? Goes for you as well XiF.

barfing right now... why in the hell would we want to talk about flat, non-feminine, mannish chests like Noel's or Rachel's when we could talk about large, bountiful, feminine breasts/curves like Litchi's? i don't comprehend the appeal of the two little girls. i'd rather look at/talk about a woman. :)

Flat chests > all

Sorry.

I think this may be the underlying reason I play Rachel and Noel.

All three of the top tier characters are spacing characters, the closest you come to a non spacing character you get is Arakune, but he still got his Bees.

In Brawl, the top three seem to be Metaknight, Snake, Diddy Kong.
Metaknight is a rush down charecter.
Snake is a tank spacing charecter
Diddy Kong is a pixie.

Conclusion: Brawl has more diverse playstyle at top level play than Blazblue.
And I'm talkin about Brawl, not even Melee, where the viable charecters are drastically different, except Falco and Fox.

A pixie is a charecter that doesn't have reliable approaches, or pokes, but can set up situations and alter momentum, as well as land heavy damage. They are generally moderately fast, and have some sort of movement option that aids them in this.
An example that everyone in here would know, Millia from Guilty Gear, her only exception being that she can not deal heavy damage.
Diddy Kong, using his bananas, can take complete control of the momentum, can glide toss, can land 54% combos, has a third jump allowing him to maneuver decently in the air, as well as latch onto his opponent. Thus, Diddy Kong fits the classification of a pixie character is a fighting game.
Also, spacing was the wrong word for snake, zoning.

wtf is a spacing character?
you're supposed to space with every character on every game (even ones that aren't fighting games?)

it sounds like you mean a character that has a lot of safe distance options...but then you semi-exclude arakune from the list, when he is the king of safe distance fighting?

and saying that rachel and v-13's playstyles are "the same" is basically opportunistic disingenuousness

in some ways rachel is a pixe. i'm not a beast at the game or anything but honestly when I see a rachel who is playing a "run away the whole time" game, i assume that player doesn't know what he's doing.

also, what's a "rush down character".(in brawl) i mean rushdowns are there, but a "rush down character" can be any character that's not throw-based or campy..which is like everyone in brawl except like snake, ddd, and wario

a pixie IS a rush-down character (and MK can be a pixie or camp the **** out of you whatever way you want to play)...its not really right to use typically 2-d fighting terms like "pixie" when referring to smash bros. because smash bros. is not balanced lol
terms like "pixie" and "grappler" referred to specifically balanced character types that don't exist in smash brothers, which is basically a bunch of characters with random attributes...
in 2-d games slow, heavy characters are usually strong grapplers, but since the throw game in smash is relatively shallow, usually slow heavy characters are usually terrible. unless they are made broken by giving them ******** recovery and projectiles and chain grabs etc. (snake/ddd)...
and fast characters on smash are just random, esp. in brawl. some have combos, some dont, some have recovery options, some dont

so basically your post is weird d00d

There are the fast mobile grapplers like King of Fighters games. I thought pixie had more to do with a character being fast and mobile who also fights close range more than just rushdown. I have seen it used to describe characters that are very fast, but run away a lot to bait opponents.
