Washington players have terrible approaches. As in, they didn't attend the tournament.

edit:// why in the world are there ads here asking for women 25-55? Poor marketing, much?

we should change the name from pr discussion to "The Epic Endless Argument!" imo, but 1000000000billion dollars says someone argues that idea :p

Eric should be considered for 1st again I think after this GC preformance. He lost ONLY to KA-Master (all were 1 stock matches I believe) and beat Nate in a disadvantaged matchup (Falco/Marth) whereas John was unfortunately unable to win against Nate in an advantaged matchup (Sheik/Marth). Just making sure we note this if/when this is debated for next update.

Well i wouldnt say Falco vs Marth is a disadvantaged match up.. I think it could go either way like when Marth grabs you = your dead lol to I combo him which basically means = hes dead. Well thats about how i see it anyway lol....

O wait didnt John want himself off the PR anyways?:S

anyway if John wants to stay on the PR ummm Next tourney results?XD

I dont really care about the PR.
But Falco vs Marth - It can go either way I dont think either has an advantage if both played right.
Sheik vs Marth - Yes its true sheik should have an advantage but thats only at a low level game. In a high level game Marth can do just as much damage as sheik can.

I also dont think someone winning a "disadvantaged" match counts because we all know that ANYONE can win any match up its just how well you know your own characters and theirs.
Remember Taj ****** everyone with Mewtwo?

Also for my defense. Im pretty sure Nate was out of practice. When I played him was when he was the top of his game because it was right before (after?) FC and OC.

Fair enough John, and great counterpoints by the way. I just think it's more effective and too easy for Marth to gay Falco opposed to the effectiveness of Falco's combos on Marth. I just usually go by my experience and what I've seen at tournaments, etc. At high level play the advantages just become less apparent in my opinion, but are still noticable. I guess if you look at someone like M2K his marth ****ing ***** almost any sheik... but then again... it's M2K. Where'as not long ago when Ken was still #1 he would sometimes lose to players less than his level that used sheik, i.e (DSF, Omar, etc.)

I think another update needs to be made particularly regarding our noteables/10th spot. >.>

It would also be useful to recall who John beat out in order to make it into finals against Nate at that gameclucks... i'm sure he remembers...

As much as I love Eric (and i do, with a passion)... there is no debate in my mind right now that John is still the most skilled smasher in BC. On that note though, there's also no debate that Eric is the 2nd most skilled... and the two of them are not THAT far apart. The difference is still clear though.

Thankyou David. The panelists will take your comment into consideration.

John: I guess the fact that you sandbag wayyy more than Eric does leads me to belive that the two of you are about equal.

Okay Adam im sorry. I wont sandbag anymore *puts on serious face*

lolz, <3 John. I was talking to Eggz last night, and he said something that rly helped me. Basically he was saying you have to play someone worse than you, for example, lets compare Eric and Roby. Eric's best method for improving would be to try and read everything Roby does and 4 stock him every time, playing hundreds of matches with the same mentality every time. Then, Eric would want to play someone like John or Silent Wolf and try to do the same thing keeping that same mind set that the only acceptable outcome is a 4 stock in his favor.

I believe that applying this to my game is gunna help a bunch so I guess poor Mark is gunna get 4 stocked all over the place :/. Then... I'll find someone substantially above my level (i.e. John, Eric, Tiep, GOOD WA players, whatever) and try to 4 stock them xD. It may sound silly but I think if one applies this method correctly it could really help them improve.

Does anyone know what he means? The entirety of that post is based on whether or not I know what he means; I just need to be sure :psycho:

Phannas Character matchup chart indicates at HIGH level play sheik has a 5-4 advantage over Marth >.> Just so you know John :p.

This is the most rediculous and immature discussion of sexual intercourse I have ever encountered in my enitre life. Tru fax. (Not actually true)

That chart... is very pretty.

But it's not totally correct.

Edit: Actually the problem probably lies in the definition of "high" level play.

Been playing sheik for a month or 2 (at that time) and thats not enough time for me to get into a "high" level with Sheik. I had also beat several others with Sheik including Eric. Also with Marth who at the time I just started to learn.
