The La Quinta Inn & Suites 4521 W 41st Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57106. We are less than a block off of the interstate and located near numerous restaurants.

Melee Singles ($125 Pot Bonus)

Entry Fees:
$10 venue fee
$5 per event (amateur event entrance is free with singles sign up)
$5 refund for players that bring a set up and stay until after grand finals.
Please bring your setups! Without you guys helping out we will not be able to run properly. If you ask yourself "Should I bring it along?" the answer is YES.

**REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE 30 MINUTES BEFORE EACH EVENT STARTS. LATE ENTRIES CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.**
10:00 am: Doors open, friendlies begin
12:00 pm: Smash 4 Doubles
1:00 pm: Melee Doubles
3:00 pm: Smash 4 Singles
4:30 pm: Melee Singles
~6:00 pm Smash 4 Amateur
~7:30 pm Melee Amateur
Also please note that times are somewhat flexible. Things have the potential to run a little late.

Bracket Structure:
If a game reaches 32 entrants then 4 double elimination bracket pools will be ran into a top 16 final double elimination bracket. The bracket pools will seed 2 entrants out of winners and 2 entrants out of losers.
If a game does not reach 32 entrants then a large double elimination bracket will be ran.
Players who place out of the top 16 will be automatically placed in the double limitation bracket.
Amateur brackets will be randomly seeded.
Melee Singles and Smash 4 Singles are bo3 until top 8.
Melee Doubles is bo3 unitl top 3.
Amateur bracket will be bo3 through out.
All Melee setups will be running the latest version of UCF on v1.02.
20xx setups and texture modded versions of Melee are banned.

Disqualification:
The tournament organizers will be making available matches known in a number of ways on the day of the tournament. If a good faith attempt to start a match isn’t made by a participant within TEN MINUTES of the match being announced, that player will be disqualified at the discretion of a tournament organizer. There are a number of common-sense exceptions to this, including your participation in another concurrent match. If you will not be in the tournament space for an extended period of time for a reasonable purpose, speak to your pool captain.

For singles events:
1st place: 55%
2nd place: 25%
3rd place: 15%
4th place: 5%
For doubles events:
1st place: 60%
2nd place: 30%
3rd place: 10%
Amateur brackets will not be payed out.

Food:
There will be no scheduled lunch or dinner breaks. Those must be taken at the discretion of each player when time permits. There are plenty of restaurants nearby including Perkins, Panda Express, Arby's, McDonald's and more. Outside food is allowed in the venue, however please be respectful with garbage and cleanlieness.
Alcohol:
Alcohol is not allowed in the venue.
