bloop.
now, origonally i thought the item update yesterday ruined my theory, but it actualy enhances it.
http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/items/item13.html
now, look at DK. zelda is throwing the healer at him, so you would think DK was on the red team, right?
but hes wearing a...
blue.
tie.
blue tie.
tie blue.
tie that is blue.
blue on his tie.
now one you've gotten over that awesome factor, I think i'v figured why the char damage icons are so big. see, both the logo and the slash at the bottem are coulored according to the team, and the char pics are there so you can tell them appart at a glance, notice the logos are alot more covered then in melee. and besides, they turn clear when you walk behind them, so why are you complaining that there to big?
and my final point that is practicly the motar of my theory, is that they all have little icons that corrospond with with there team coulors. now these things show up normaly in the demo if you stand still long enough (they also swich from player number to damage percenage and back) but these guys are doing everything from running to jumping to throwing items, which means its a pointer for which team you are on!
so, if you haven't gotten my point yet, 1. your an idiot and 2. you can pick any coulor you want on a team!
So, whether you’re siblings or close friends, two can play together!
this...this is going to revolutionize smash!!
well... not really, but it's a nice touch, like entances and all that jazz.
and beleve me, SSBB is going to have alot of jazz.
feel free to think of an arguement, but siriously, why would you want to?

farewell

PS. completly irrelevent but there are little flags saying G, R, and B behind each character which is much cooler then the little corner things in melee.

No you can't just pick any color you want on a team. DK's tie might be blue, but his fur is red. Look at this image closely

It's the same as it's always been; if you're on the blue team, your character is blue, if you're on the red team your character is red, and so on and so forth.

'teory'? 'origonally'? The English teachers where you live really earn their pay.

Besides that point, picking any color in a team match is as likely as bats flying out of my *** (which, contrary to popular belief, will not happen).

I'd love to have the colors I want in teams, maybe it'll be like that.. but Sakurai didn't mention it so probably not.

And your theory is not right >_> DK is in the red team. Yes, his tie is blue, but it was like that in EVERY smash game. The red DK has a blue tie.

From your logic, the normal colored DK is the red one, because his tie is red.

Dang it. I was looking forward to seeing that too. :(
On topic, yeah his tie is a different color, but his fur is not. Hate to burst your bubble, but no.

Play some Team Melee as a Red DK, and you'll see the problem with your theory.
