But I prefer MetaKnight's sword. Link's and Kirby's are boring, Pit's is weird, and Ike's is impractical.

O, and Meta Knight has the coolest sword. Any sword that's called 'Mach Speed Sword' gets an A in my book.

1)Ike-I would have to say the Ragnarok. It's long powerful and full of energy.... it sends out(in his game) slashes of blue light that are equivalent (I believe) to an up close and personal slash. Don't forget his weapon is blessed by the goddess herself, which is instant win.

2) Pit- Only thing that is close to a being as awesome as a blessed sword is 2 swords(daggers?) that combine to form a bow (my favorite long-ranged weapon)

3)Metaknight- He gets points for getting a sword that can cut onions in (mili?)seconds. Finally someone who can save me from all those tears

4) Link- Well his sword has passed through possibly hundreds of generations being used by Hundreds of reincarnations of himself and has no rust. We should use the material and only that material for anything steel from now on. "Master Steel:Link tested, mother approved"

Oh noes, 4 sword users out of a cast of 25+! Come on, it's not a big deal.

The answer to this question is Marth's sword, whatever it's name is. The tip is just too much of a beast, and I doubt the Brawl characters could match it.

Of the characters already confirmed I'd rank the swords like this:

1) Pit - His "sword" is the most unique of all the swords in Brawl (so far) due to the fact that it can be separated into two swords and may be used as a bow and such. It also looks pretty cool.

2) Ike - His 2 handed sword just looks pretty cool, without coming off as 'cliche'. It's also easily the strongest weapon game in the weapon (not counting actual items lol).

3) Meta Knight - His sword also looks cool, but it's pretty 'cliche' when it comes to swords for villians. The idea that it combos in every swipe is a cool idea.

4) Link - Not counting the nostalgia factor of the Master Sword, the Master Sword is easily the most boring sword of the bunch.

I like Ike's Ragnell. Its powerful in Path of Radiance, haven't seen it in action yet in Radiant Dawn but, I guess I'll find out very soon as I get through the game.

I hate it when people say that there are too many sword users in Smash...because there arent...so by saying that we cant allow any more fist fighters because they are the true ppl who overpopulate the Smash universe and no more magic/psychic users we already have 3....and hammer users? WAY TOO MUCH!! Ice Climbers AND DeDeDe...this game is getting even more ******** as I go down the roster........who would ever buy this game....I sure wouldnt...cuz theres too many sword users [if u cant tell Im being sarcastic, I swear t-....................)

I think 4-5 sword users is good, but I would really like the ability to have a beamsword match- now you control who does and doesn't have a weapon.

the sword that has claimed my favoritism would be the sword of kirby, the legendary final cutter which has done many a metor smash at extremely low percentages to opponents in super smash bros. 64. this sword is the absolute pinnacle of carnage, and none other can ever match its epic blade, that which can send shockwaves at landing.
