Switching name data

Ok now, so I've been using the same Brawl username since that fateful March 9th when Brawl came out, and just recently, I played with a certain PSA hack made by a certain someone that required a certain code to work (identities will be held due to risk of tarnished reputation), but I guess something or other went wrong with the coding. The hack worked just fine, but when I was finished playing the character, it had completely and permanently replaced the last few digits of my name with weird squares. And, honestly, I don't want to play as PY-- for the rest of my brawling life, but I don't want to lose all of my collected data. Is there any way, hack or built into the game option that I just couldn't find, that enables me to copy my name data onto a new one? To be honest, I sort of needed a new one.

Oh, the irony... i guess I should tell you it was you, FrozenPopo. Now, I realize that it probably WASN'T your fault in the LEAST bit, probably just a coincidence. But yes, for some reason SoPo has been doing this to me. It wasn't just for that nickname, for all of the ones I tried him on. So... yea. You might want to look into that. :\

Oh, and also, it displays him as Mario when you fight as him.

lol i knew it was me. i had been having a similar problem with one name, but it didn't mess up on others. right now i'm using a 4 character name (TEST) and there hasn't been any problems. if anybody can find the code i'll go ahead and add it to my SoPo gct
