musashi is the star of sushi striker the way of sushido on switch and 3ds one of nintendos more unique franchises

now its probably too late for him/her to be in the base game but i thought id try and get a move going in case of dlc

musashi lives in a world where fish have extinct and sushi can only be made by sushi sprites with the help of these sprites he is able to fight against the sushi hording empire and bring sushi to the people, as a sushi striker he links together plates of sushi , eats the sushi and then the stack of empty plates is thrown at the enemy, and the sushi sprites gives him/her various abilities

translating into smash we get a fighter who throws plates and blobs oh wasabi and helped by various sprites

game may be a little niche but you never know

I played the demo, but man is Musashi a funny character. I support just because in my minds eye, a character eating sushi and throwing dishes is certainly cool and unique.

I didn't even know he had a thread. It's a real shame no one bought the game it was honestly pretty good.

Hmm let me assess Musashi to my very demanding and strict prerequisite listing to see if he qualifies as a reasonable choice for Smash.

- Is he 1st party?
He is.

Done.

dont like third parties?
I’d rather have the obscurest, random, forgotten, weirdest first party character than the most popular third party character.

Smash is a game for “Nintendo’s All Stars” not the riff raff

well the series seems to have moved away from just being nintendo (especially in ultimate) which has the unfortunate effect of screwing over all less successful nintendo franchises
