Lol I thought it was funny. People obviously know the truth :oSeriously. Saying "the products/technology sucks and is overpriced therefore it has not innovated or had influence on culture at all" is....well, ********.
But what about their other games/console. The Wii was just a chapter for Nintendo :oNintendo isn't innovative because Wii games suck. Electric cars aren't innovative because they aren't fast enough. And Redbox has such mediocre selection, no innovation over Blockbuster at all! And totes agreed about the ipod, not special at all. why did they even release that with so many other superior mp3 players on the market in 2001?![]()
oops, I mis-worded that.Show me where I said that apple products have had no influence on culture.
Oh.
I think the 9/11 analog is a little misguided, but I see what you're getting at.I suppose the 9/11 attacks were innovative.
Hell, that means that Justin Beiber is innovative.
Jonas Brothers too.
Nothing could be further from the truth.frotaz, you simply don't understand what steve jobs did for the personal computer. you only know the crappy apple products of today and assume that steve jobs got famous selling crap like that.
yepSo let me get this straight.
I am full of ignorant fanboy rage.
I am objectively wrong.
My opinion is ********.
What I understand and know has already been decided upon.
I have no interest in having a discussion that involves me defending myself from the ridiculous accusations of others.
BYE.
I think this should be highlighted for importance. What Steve and Apple did for the personal computer, what with introducing GUI (yeah, they got it from Xerox), and challenging IBM's reign on the computer industry, you cannot deny that.frotaz, you simply don't understand what steve jobs did for the personal computer. you only know the crappy apple products of today and assume that steve jobs got famous selling crap like that. nothing could be further from the truth.
And we all know how that went.Yeah, only time will tell. At least he's been CEO of Apple before.
Basically, posts like this. How is OSX any better for art than the PC? I have yet to find ANY solid reason.
The best I could find was 10 years ago, Apple computers were a lot better for art, but now Windows are capable of using photoshop and the likes.
If anything, it's just a bunch of artists following the cool crowd
Well it's not like Steve Jobs was successful as CEO his first go around >_>And we all know how that went.
Why do you think you know this? Do you know how much work it takes to do what he did? Do you know how difficult or hard he found that work to be? Do you know how he treated his employees? Do you know Steve Jobs? Do you know what his IQ is? I don't get how you could say things like this unless you know him personally or have studied his life extensively.Steve Jobs has worked incredibly hard, and pushed himself and his people incredibly hard, to get to where he is today. You've gotta respect him for that.
Personally, I like his philosophy, as well. He is a very smart, very innovative individual, and I can say that while being a PC person through and through.
First of all, do you really not see how this is an elitist "If you don't think like us then you're dumb" mentality?I think LT has already stated this but if you don't like Apple products that's fine but to pretend like any of the Apple products did not have any influence or pave the way for more innovative products, then you're just being foolish.
They were.I suppose the 9/11 attacks were innovative.
Not really. Its just that corporate world politics turned against him. He got fired from his own company. That has to be one of the biggest slaps in the face you can ever get.Well it's not like Steve Jobs was successful as CEO his first go around >_>
