I really don't want to call out shots this early in the game but some people are not going megaman from the start of the tourney till the finish. But I really dont want to be that guy so imma keep my mouth shut :x

I completely agree with you. Mega Man should be used as much as possible.
However, if a player desides to go, say Meta Knight, at the later part of the tourney because he feel he has to, it should be added as a comment in the post.

Oh, if we're doing online tournaments, I placed 2nd in a 22-person online friendly on 10/17 using MegaMan the whole time (w/ custom moves enabled):

My losses were actually a lot closer than they appear-- came down to the wire and I choked almost every game. ROB's just a really tough MU for MegaMan I think.

So... I'm apparently pretty good. ^^; I randomly entered into this weekly tournament league thing. Ended up doing quite well and getting to play some friendlies with really top players. (Hitaku from NorCal of previous Sonic glory and DKWill... who's DK is ridiculous) I'll be updating this weekly, as I think I'm going to try attend each week for 5 weeks. The top 8 players based on their best 4 finishes get to play in a "top 8" tournament. And my goal is to make that. We'll see how it goes. Also, I could get money... which is always nice.

Best 4 finish total: 70 (5+65)

Week 2... :/ Got toasted by a ROB, who I'm starting to understand as just an uphill battle for Mega Man due to the range on the NAir and his tilts in conjunction with the long range gyro & lasers. Then lost against a Mario due to some poor play on my end and dropped inputs. The one win came off of a solid Lucina, whose shield breaker I have a lot of trouble with... Hopefully I can drop this week to keep a low best 4 finishes.

Hmm... Maybe we should just stick to recording Offline Tourney Results in the OP, after all.
Ppl, will play Online Tourneys all the time, and the OP would soon be filled with mostly Onlines.
Feel free to post Online Results, anyway. It's always nice to see.

It's my personal opinion about this. Thoughts?

Yeah, that's probably a good idea. Sorry about that. ^^; I hadn't really done tournaments before, so I got excited.

Maybe people can edit in their online tournaments in an online tournament post of their own (with a spoiler tag).

Took 2nd in another 16-player online tournament, again. Lost to the same R.O.B. player... again.

I'm really starting to dislike our R.O.B. match-up.

Apparently, there's going to be a huge tournament in Toronto on December 6th, which will be attended by Mew2King and will be an Apex qualifier. My friend who already has tournament experience insists that I should go to the tournament because he believes I may be good enough to beat some people over there and he says it will help me improve. If I get extreme begineer's luck and end up getting at least Top 32, I'll report. Otherwise, I'm honestly expecting to not do so well because I just got into the competitive Smash scene this year.

You're still getting Top 8, that's good. Probably better than where I'll get on that December 6 tourney I'm going to. I'm Top 3(still not finished) at a tourney hosted at my school but I'm not sure if that can necessarily count here.

Do you mean TCG II? I didn't go to the first one (NASCAR and furniture johns) but I am going to the next one for sure. Also entering Pokemon/Mario Kart. I can make a strong run in each of those games as well.

Edit: Nevermind. Saw earlier post. Different tournament.

I believe I may be going to a different tournament. I'm going to have to train a lot though if my friend is certain about M2K being there, although I probably won't be able to beat him anyways since he is simply a much better player than I am. Although I'm not exactly sure where he heard that M2K is coming anyways, I'll have to ask.
