Here's one of my favorite custom stages my friends and I enjoy playing on. I'll share up more stages when I get the chance.

"Screw You Guys"

https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYMHAAACAAADVHjoGWiHEg

This is a recreation of a stage my brother made in Brawl loosely based on South Park's Eric Cartman. It's a pretty fun stage to play in with most of the action taking place in the belly. The AI seem to have problems with this version of the stage and get stuck over by his feet.

I've uploaded Blastzone/size accurate versions of some melee/64 maps on my Miiverse;
FOD: https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYQHAAABAACNUKFFqQwHjg
P Stadium Neutral: https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYQHAAABAACNUKFFqK3I3Q
Dreamland: https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYQHAAABAACNUKFFqRkLcA
Yoshi's story (no randall): https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYQHAAABAACXVHhlxKtN9w
Hyrule Castle: https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYQHAAABAACNUKFFqEUYFA

I'll be making more from Brawl/PM, so follow me if you want, or notify if you've already made one.

*Mind, Saffron city is not blast zone accurate, but I feel the others are a good translations of the originals.

Just wanted to say stage builder isn't as bad as many people in the community are bringing it out to be, though granted, it certainly could have benefited from many more parts and backgrounds. Regardless, there's plenty to do and make with the current freehand tools at our disposal.

My own stage; Sky Port

I would love to hear some more ideas being thrown around, perhaps I could take some pointers as inspiration for a new map. My own tip for any other custom enthusiasts out there are Trees, they're pretty easy to make despite seeming impossible at first, anyone's free to use my own template shown above. If someone out there would make a forest stage, I'd be overjoyed. Brawl had plenty of neat stages available for download online, and I'd love for that trend to continue. I know there's plenty of creative minds throughout this forum, and I'm sure a couple of you could forge an amazing stage.
Seriously, this is the prettiest stage I saw since the game is out!

I've been dabbling in stage creation for a while and have a few up on Miiverse. Tag or message me if they become invalid, I guess.

Inspired by Randall the Cloud. The lower platforms jut out underneath the ledge briefly before retracting back into the stage. The upper platform takes the same amount of time to complete a cycle, so the two sets are basically opposites -- when one is out, the other is not, and vice versa. A vaguely beachy, sporty sort of theme.

This stage was basically an excuse to use the Magicant music, and Magicant is full of pink fluffy clouds, so the overall theme I wanted was fairly obvious from the start. Three independent platforms come up from the ground, but their timing and position relative to each other is staggered so it's difficult to predict when and where the next one will come.

This one went through a lot of experimentation and iteration before I arrived at something I was happy with. Moving platforms simulate a conveyor belt or something similar that moves back and forth, but because it's a moving platform you can still drop through it onto the lava. In a way it's basically a more stable version of the Electric form in Pokemon Stadium 2.

I didn't plan it, but the stage layout is similar to Warioware. A large platform takes its sweet time to arrive, but you can see it coming since the inside of the stage is hollow.

The lava on the sides forces you to be very precise when recovering. The knockback is powerful, even at 0%, and most characters can't make it back without their double jump if they touch it. Some stationary platforms over the ledges offer additional options for recovery.

My first attempt at an asymmetrical stage. Still not sure if it's actually a good stage or not. Ness hates falling into the pit, but there's just enough room to steer PK Thunder if he hugs the sides. If you walk super duper slowly where the right pillar and the platform meet, you'll walk in place. Not sure how to fix that.

Hey guys. I'm brand new to the forums (this is my first post) and I'd like to share some of my stages with you all. Most of my stages have a write up featuring pictures in the comments of the miiverse post, so please be sure to check them out. And make sure you're at the first comment too. If it says "See first #__ comments" then click that to start the details from the beginning. I'm very interested in making the best stages that I possibly can, so please feel free to leave suggestions or critiques. Enjoy!

I would like to see them. :)
Sorry it took a while but here they are!

Yoshi's Story (64)
https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYMHAAACAAADVHkBATDxYw

Fourside (Melee)
https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYMHAAACAAADVHkBAMSSyg

(Little platform moves to the top-right of the stage loosely acting like the UFO)

Peach's Castle (64)
https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYMHAAACAAADVHkA_0pY1g

Magicant (3DS)
https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYMHAAACAAADVHkBAJgBIQ

(Moving platforms cross the stage to simulate Dungeon Man)

Venom (Melee)
https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYMHAAACAAADVHkBAfzrKg

(Revamped version to make it more interesting, so the small platforms move diagonally while the big platform moves up and down, and they all lead to death cannons so there is no camping)

Saffron City (64)

Most of these aren't that great, but...

"Steel Mill" (from Terminator 2: Judgement Day)

"Stark Tower" (from Iron Man). I made this stage in Brawl, so it was about time I remade it this game.

More Pics:

Iron Man vs. Shulk

Also, you can't drop through the platforms, they are actually solid despite how they look.

"Peach Trees" (from Dredd)

More Pics:

Judge Dredd and Anderson are ready to take down crime.

"Building Crane" Seemed like a cool stage idea to me.

"Burger Time 1-1" (from Burger Time [NES version]). This would be a lot better if the stage builder had ladders...

"Zombies 8 Neighbors" (from Zombies Ate My Neighbors). Stage features a working trampoline, sandbox, and part of a hedge maze.

Features:
Hide yourself in the sandbox!

How the trampoline works: You can stand on it without it immediately launching you in the air, as shown below.

If you want to use it, just hold down!

"Metal Storm 1-1" (from Metal Storm)

"Mars Lighthouse" (from Golden Sun)

"Daisy Cruiser" (from Mario Kart: Double Dash!). This one's kinda pitiful-looking IMO, but it's still fun to fight on.
Wow. That's all. Just wow.

Four more stages today; another Commander Keen stage from the 'more recent', if you can call it 'recent', Galaxy series of games, and three MineCraft stages set in different worlds and biomes.

Blooglab SS - based on Commander Keen in Aliens Ate my Babysitter
Small Size, Music: Multiplayer (Metroid Prime 2: Echoes)

The full name of the stage is 'Blooglab Space Station' and like the last Keen stage is based on one part of the full level. Specifically, the stage is what I like to call a 'meat-grinder', a stage especially designed for racking up huge damage, even to the point of making knock outs hard to come by. The stage is largely a confined room with a largely lava floor, floating lava hazards in the middle, and no way around them besides the three moving platforms. Ideally, there would be four platforms, but they would constantly circle the hazard, so I've had to make do for now. You knock out fighters on the right side of the stage, but adding difficultly to the task is the fact that two narrow passages are your only way to launch fighters off the stage. There's a fall through platform near the very top right corner of the stage to enter the room.
---
[collapse=Steve brakes into battle?]

I went for a simple Mii than trying to create the genuine 8-bit look. It's the one thing I don't like about MineCraft.[/collapse]

MC Overworld - based on MineCraft
Large Size, Music: Ground Theme (Super Mario Bros.)

Inspired by Xpinkbean's MineCraft stage I've set about trying to make MineCraft stages for each of the custom stage themes. The full name of the stage is 'MineCraft: Overworld'. This is just a typical, ordinary scene in every MineCraft game; a hill rising up with a cavern inside...that just happens to have a lava poll in it. Trapping a fighter in the cavern is a great way to score free damage, but other than that it just a typical, everyday MineCraft map.
---
MC Nether World (v.1) - based on MineCraft
Large Size, Music: Castle / Boss Fortress (Super Mario World / SMB 3)

This full name of the stage is 'MineCraft: Nether World'. The stage is designed to be similar to a floating island in MineCraft's Nether, in this case it's a Battlefield-type stage styled to look like Nether Brick and lava flowing from down to the bottom. Ideally you should be able to fly through the lava like you can move through it in MineCraft, in a similar fashion to the Blazing Chamber hazards in the Kalos Pokémon League stage, which is why lava flows from the top right island, however I do like this arrangement in any case, despite closing off the right side. Essentially if you find yourself launched but not knocked out you'll be in a bit of strife as the edges, especially the right hand side, are flooded with lava, making ledge recoveries all the more dangerous; you'll made to lift off the ground immediately, or you're stuffed.
---
MC Extreme Hills - based on MineCraft
Large Size, Music: Airship Theme (Super Mario Bros. 3)

The full name of the stage is 'MineCraft: Extreme Hills'. This is one of the unique biomes of MineCraft, you can reach some of the absolutely highest naturally generated points on the Overworld. Here, the stage is a massive mountain reaching very nearly the top of the stage itself, and along with most of the stage the cliff faces at the bottom of the stage are sheer. The only stage hazard here is gravity and apart from two floating islands near the base of the stage once your out of reach of the cliff's edge, you'll plummet to your grizzly death.

You died!
*clicks Respawn*
---
A couple of brief things before I go, firstly there's another stage I'm eager to try out, but I'm looking for a specific piece of music, does anyone know if the Street Smash theme is accessible on the Wii U game? Secondly, with the MineCraft stages I'd like to announce that I'm giving my largely vomit-filled Steve? moveset from a previous Make Your Move contest a revamp and a gander at a SSB4-style moveset. 'What does that mean' you say? Find out in due time. :chuckle:
Commander Keen!? I thought I was the only one!!! I loved that game. If there was a series I didn't know, and I'm not sure which one I had, but I loved it.

Oh yea; seven PC games and a GameBoy Color original game in 2001 - never played the GBC game though. The series of games are broken up into two big episodes and a couple stand-alone games each; Keen 1-3 = Invasion of the Vorticons, Keen Dreams, Keen 4-6 = Goodbye Galaxy!, and just Commander Keen GameBoy Color. Do a quick Google search and you'll find heaps of stuff and info of the heaps of mods for them.

If you like I can personally send you my Keen content; my Emerald City and Blooglab SS stages, and my humble Keen Mii Fighter.

That sounds awesopme, but I ran out of space some time ago. Until they allow us to save onto SD cards or USB drives I am full. Really sucks. Somone told me that they can do so, but I have a completely empty SD HC card in (and it's not locked) but I don't even have the option to save to it. As far as I know there is no way to do so. This game is still so broken.

Somone told me that they can do so, but I have a completely empty SD HC card in (and it's not locked) but I don't even have the option to save to it. As far as I know there is no way to do so. This game is still so broken.
Oh boo! :( Well with any luck Sakurai is on the case and working to fix that soon enough.

In the meantime I'm play-testing a new stage I'll be posting soon; one whose primary function is to mimic as closely as possible a stage hazard similar to a Melee stage. Watch this space...

So it seems that the stages I posted back in April 15th are still here? Can anybody else confirm this, because this might actually help a little in terms of stage storage, since you can just use your own Miiverse page as a stage list.

Mine from April 15 are still downloadable from my miiverse page. Unless the "Start Smash Now" tab doesn't actually do what it's supposed to.

Been looking at reddit's Smash stages threads, and they said that Nintendo doesn't delete the post itself, but the download. I double checked it myself with the Old version of Freddy's Pizza 2, and I got the message "couldn't find data, may have been deleted." when I started up Smash.

Dang, disappointing really.

Unrelated, I have a grand reopening of Freddy's Pizza 2. The difference between this one and the old one is that I moved the Puppet Cannon to around where it should (roughly) be in the Prize corner area, turned it into a box so that you can't knock players into the cannon, changed up the Dining and the Show Floor platforms so that it's more varied on that side.

Sucks. They sure are an archaic bunch when it comes to online things.

Anyhoo, here's my new stage "The Underground" see miiverse comments for more details. I painstakingly tested this with all characters and made lots of alterations to suit everyone, so please read the comments to learn about those changes.

It's been a while, but not only can I now post a new stage but my very first concept stage; a stage with stage hazards that are specifically designed to mimic hazards from past and present official Smash stages. This is a first draft of a stage that mimics in this case a not-so-friendly Melee stage - Big Blue...

919 Hybrid (v.1) - based on the real life hypercar and inspired by Real Racing 3, an iDevice game.
Small stage, Music - Mute City Ver. 3

The full name of the stage is 'Porsche 919 Hybrid in Le Mans'. This role of the stages hazards are designed to recreate as closely as possible the Big Blue stage hazard where when you land on the road you're essentially shunted to the left and off-screen. Here the ground is lavaed (I've copyrighting that......you can't just use it....) all around the 919 and littered with big cannons that all point left to create the motion of a car accelerating at high speed, which giving that it's the 919 is exactly what I want. On the Le Mans track the 919 can hit speeds of up to 380 kph, I know this having reached that speed in my game.

That car and other LMP1s - Le Mans Prototypes - are the closest things in the modern era to genuine Blue Falcons!
The cannons continue past the edges of the screen to ensure simulated speedy death. Now obviously this is a very, very basic idea of the actual stage I want to make - an actual car racing an actual track reaching actual break-neck speeds with actual fighters actually fighting - and it may be hard to see the stage clearly...

...which is why I made a pretty drawing! ^.^ The contours of the car can now be clearly seen, ideally I want the fighters to fight on the body proper - what they are actually on is the stabilizing fin, being only a few millimeters thick it's not a great platform to fight on. I also want a HUD display following the car displaying its current speed and lap time. You'll also notice a rather lazily drawn star gleaming at the front splitter, it's a sour-spot on the stage. If you launch right, hit the road and almost inevitably hit the splitter you'll be launched right, clean off-screen.
