This is for the people who want to plan out their stage before building it. I have taken the time to count out all the squares of the stage builder to make it really easy for you to start planning out your stages. The grids have dots in intersections lines to help you point out where the lines will be placed when you start making a stage using the grid.

Measurements to consider, referring to a single 1x1 grid square as an "Ultgrid":
  • Ultimate's grid = Wii U's grid 1:1
  • 1 Brawl grid block = 4x4 Ultgrids
  • Kirby's "HIII" taunt = 2x2 Ultgrids, and his proportional size never changes throughout the entire series; to measure a stage from a past game or fan game, use him as a baseline.
  • 1 Ultgrid = 5x5 Training stage tiny blocks; 1 large training stage block = 2x2 Ultgrids
  • Battlefield's platforms are 4 ultgrids off the ground and 6 across, with 1 ultgrid of horizontal space between them
  • Final Destination is 32 Ultgrids across.
  • Simon/Richter's F-smash: When whip is at max length, the whip is 6 ultgrids long, and the Belmont alone from foot to hand is 4 Ultgrids long.
    • The same is true for their U-smash with vertical distance. Whip 6 up, Belmont 4 up.
