We here at the Salem Smashfests are proud to present Oregon's first big Smash Bros. Ultimate event: the Ultimate Showdown!

*NOTE: Bringing a full setup (Switch, Smash Bros. Ultimate, Gamecube Adapter, and Monitor) reduces your Venue Fee by $5!
*NOTE: Driving a carpool to the event also reduces your Venue Fee by $5!

For this event, we'll also be running a continuous, free-play ladder!

This will be free entry, and you can come up and ask a TO for a match at basically any time! (NOTE: you cannot enter a ladder match while you're still in the Singles bracket!)

Win your way up the ladder to gain experience and get earn prizes!

Basic Rules
- Stocks: 3
- Timer: 7 Minutes
- Final Smash Meter: Off
- Smash Radar Size: Small

Stages (Default: Hazards OFF, Players get 2 bans)
- Battlefield
- Final Destination
- Smashville (Hazards: ON)
- Town & City (Hazards: ON)
- Fountain of Dreams (Hazards: ON)
- Yoshi's Story (Hazards: ON)
- Yoshi's Island Brawl
- Kalos League
- Pokemon Stadium(s) (NOTE: Which one will be decided once the game releases)

We'll be streaming the event all day on https://twitch.tv/SalemSmashfests and recording a ton more matches to be uploaded later to our Youtube channel!

*If you want your match recorded, let us know - the earlier the better!*

Q: Do I need to bring my own controller?
A: Technically no, but it's highly recommended! We do have a few spare controllers, but there is no guarantee that there will be enough for everyone - and no promises about the quality of the controllers, either!

Also, we have a few updates on the event!

1) We have 5 guaranteed Ultimate setups, but we always need more! If you can bring one, please make sure you register and let us know - that way we can plan better!

2) Send flyers for your events ASAP so I can make sure they get printed (or just bring your own on the day, whatever's easier for you)! Hopefully everyone who shows up gets to learn about all the other events we've got going on in Oregon!

3) Due to people experimenting with the game early, it has been found that two of the stages in our original list have issues:
- Fountain of Dreams has lag spikes
- Yoshi's Story has Shy Guys who drop food even with Items OFF and NONE

As such, these two stages have been replaced with Hazards-OFF Castle Siege and WarioWare, making the final list:
