SSBM Dolphin problem.

Hey there, I recently got the dolphin emulator and for the first day it was fine. I was vsing a friend that lives in the same city and it was smooth, until now. For the past few days my ping when I'm on the emulator keeps spiking to 300 every few seconds. This seems to only happen when I am vsing someone on dolphin. My ping is fine when I play other online games like dota 2. I have tried both ethernet and wireless connections, changing router channels, resetting router to factory settings, closing all applications using internet, and still nothing seems to work. It can't be any of my other friends internet because when they play against other people its fine for them. Any help at all would be nice.

I keep having the same problem with my friend! We both have good internet speeds, good computers, and good pings in other games.

Are you both using ethernet and the same version of dolphin?

Also, always post specs.

Both are using same version of dolphin, we aren't using Ethernet but I've tried using Ethernet.
