Splatoon 3’s about to receive a lot of new content during the Sizzle Season 2023! The new season is arriving soon on June 1st, 2023.
Sizzle Season 2023 sees the return of old content, as well as many new additions. For starters, three stages are heading Splatoon 3’s way! First there’s Barnacle & Dime, an entirely new multiplayer stage. Next up would be Humpback Pump Track, returning from Splatoon 2. Then, we’ve got Jammin’ Salmon Junction, a new stage for Salmon Run.
Of course though, there’s more than just stages coming with the season. There’s new weapons like the Painbrush, S-Blast ‘92, Splatana Wiper Deco, Annaki Splattershot Nova and the Big Swig Roller Express. There’s even new Tableturf Battle Cards to go alongside them! In addition, Splatoon 3 players can expect new cosmetic options and even a whole new Challenges mode. The first of these challenges was “Too Many Trizookas”, a battle where all players have a Trizooka. Next was “Foggy Notion”, where player vision will become obscured by fog. And finally, there’s the “Extreme Jump Challenge”, where players will be able to jump higher than normal. Needless to say, Splatoon 3 players have a lot to look forward to!
