:4dedede: IMAGE COMING SOON :4dedede:
This past season has certainly been a tumultuous in the Louisiana Sm4sh community. More and more players are really rising up and the competition has been fiercer than ever before. I feel like this is the start of a new era in our scene, and listed below are the players that have risen above all the odds to secure their spot in the top echelon of play in South Louisiana. So here we go!

1. Samsora (±0)
:4peach::rosalina::4zss:

What can be said about Samsora that hasn't already been said? He's been the same brilliant albeit illiterate powerhouse as always in our Louisiana state. He's been coming out to more and more tournaments here as well as the weeklies, and with only two set losses to Zack and Chub, it just means there's more people for him to Peach f-air into oblivion.
@samsora_

2. P1 | Captain Zack (±0)
:4bayonetta2:

Zack has put in a lot of work in making it out to more Louisiana events and it shows once again in his claim of the #2 spot of the Louisiana PR! Coming out to twice as many tournaments as last season, he got second at all two of them, losing literally only to Samsora (and still taking one set). Time will only tell if Zack can work his way out of his Mr. Second Place status and overcome his demon, Samsora.
@captainzack_

3. BSP (+1)
:4mario::4pacman:

Speaking of overcoming demons, that's exactly what BSP has been doing all season. Putting in the work, embracing his inner Pac-Power, and consistently making a successful effort to take down anyone who would've stood in his way, BSP sports an impressive 5-2 record on C. Falcon, and a 4-2 record on BrawlerG31. Combine that with the fact that he has no losing records against anyone besides Samsora and V!BE, and BSP has finally risen past BrawlerG31 to claim the #3 spot.
@bspierre12

4. C. Falcon (+1)
:rosalina:

Coming in at #4, we have Louisiana's own Eevee Enthusiast. C. Falcon has been on the rise since he first showed up to his first Monthly Godlike. His Rosalina & Luma control is always improving, as are his increasingly smarter option selects. He truly wants to succeed and it's really working out for him! C. Falcon was able to remain at the top of the ladder, very rarely dipping below 5th place at any tournament he attended. He has winning records on BrawlerG31, and wins on BSP, RJ, Creatious, and just about everyone else. As we begin the next season, C. Falcon will be continuing to improve until his play is truly out of this world.
@c_falcon8

5. BrawlerG31 (-2)
:4littlemac:

Placing lower on the PR than he ever has before at #5, BrawlerG31 has seen a slight decline in results this season. His unbridled skill and composure with Little Mac that has been able to overwhelm any foe he faces has slightly diminished as people are finally starting to figure out the matchup and abuse weaknesses. Despite this, BrawlerG31 still puts up one hell of a fight. With at least one win on almost everybody on the PR, and multiple tournament victories in general, this Louisiana Mac isn't done and will be looking to take back his belt next season.
@ Brawlerg31

6. Zie (NEW)
:4cloud2:

After a long time of struggling with consistency in tournament, Zie has finally seemed to have found a really solid rhythm in his play, and has since cultivated a very solid Cloud as well. With winning records on C. Falcon, BrawlerG31, Hoodlife, and more, Zie's biggest setback was his lack of attendance this season. However, Zie's drive to compete and self-confidence will surely be huge factors in his journey to keep reaching higher heights. For now, his limit is 6th place.
@shaymin_24

7. Hoodlife (BACK)
:4luigi::4littlemac::substitute:

When Hoodlife first showed up to the scene, many doubted his skill. We all thought he was just a kid with a gambling problem. But now we know the truth: He's a very talented, diversified player... with a gambling problem. After being absent from last season, Hoodlife is back! HL has a winning record over C. Falcon and BrawlerG31, as well as wins on RJ, WpWood, and Gingah. Much like his Lafayette brother Zie, his biggest demon is attending tournaments. At the end of the day, Hoodlife will take what he can get at the 7th spot.

8. RJ (BACK)
:4dk::4bayonetta2:

Guys why is RJ here all he does is dingdong people come on get your **** together i mean honestly just dont get grabbed lol he's 8th NEXT
okay but really. RJ is one of the coolest people in the scene, and despite him not reaching as high as he normally does when he makes it out, he still performed quite well with snagging wins off of C. Falcon, Zie, Chub, and Gingah. Hopefully one day he'll be consistently able to make it out more and then he can dingdong J.T.C. off T&C at 30% more and more <3
@RJ_Smash1738

9. Creatious (±0)
:rosalina::4mario::4diddy:

The Rosa from Slidell slides in at #9! What? What do you mean I said that last time? Uh, anyway, besides the eternal #1 and #2 rank of Samsora and Zack, Creatious is the only player to retain his rank from last season. As such, he's kept up his Gatekeeper reputation and only allows the best of Louisiana players to beat him. Creatious lost only to one player ranked beneath him in The Forkies, and earned wins on BrawlerG31, C. Falcon, V!BE, AzureWolf, and more. With that said, Creatious will continue to pace himself into the next season.

10. V!BE (NEW)
:4ness:

Another newcomer to the PR, V!BE secures the 10th and final spot with his excellent Ness! The only player to have a winning record on BSP this season besides Samsora, V!BE showed that he has the potential to go far. However, a lack of wins besides BSP, V!BE will just have to be okay with starting from the bottom. We will see if he can rise further next time!
@PK_Vibe

Honorable Mentions:

The Forkies :substitute:
Whenever The Forkies decides to make it out to tournaments, he usually dumps all over the competition with his stinky fundamental play and flatulent characters. However, this season, he decided to really up the challenge and dunk his controller into a porta-potty and as a result, he only played Random this season. As such, his fecal matter wasn't as putrid as it normally would have been, but he still managed to fart all over Zie, Creatious, and AzureWolf. He only attended four tournaments this season, but as crowded as Louisiana venues can get, I'm sure many players were relieved to not have to endure the noxious gas of The Forkies. ... @ TheForkies

AzureWolf :4sonic:
The other HM this season, and perhaps just as offensive, AzureWolf is here to punctuate the PR. AzureWolf's Sonic maintained his control over non-ranked payers when it mattered, but he just couldn't clutch it out over those above him. He has wins over EJ, V!BE, and many of NOLA's best, but he'll have to settle with Honorable Mention once again. I hope he'll come back from Australia stronger and better than ever! @WJ_Azurewolf
