Yeah, try something like Audacity. Open it up, find the drop down menu for your recording device, and switch it to something like "Wave Out" or "What U Hear" or something--that's what mine says, but your choices will depend on your soundcard. Then you can press record and just play whatever it is you want recorded, then save/export the result.
