Haven't gotten a response in the Q&A thread, so I figured I'd post here lol.

Does anyone know how to do this sound glitch??

I initially thought it was fake, but I saw it again in a recent video posted in the East Coast Melee Facebook group (where Alukard, DJ Nintendo, The Moon, G$, and a few others were playing) which made me realize that this glitch is a real thing.

Anyone know how to do it?

Since you mentioned it.. He's a video of me from this month at tournament that had glitched sound. I'm not sure what caused it but I'm betting on ALIENS!

After putting on headphones it's mostly the left channel that's messed up but sometimes the sound glitch will cut in and out and the piggyback cables weren't being moved so I'm not sure why it would do that.

I experienced something similar in v1.00 a long time ago, I believe while in Multi-Man Melee. The announcer wasn't off-tune but his voice was cycling through a bunch of announcer voices. No idea what caused it, and it's so rare that I can only think that it's not something that can be easily replicated.

That's not a glitch. Your left audio wire is just messed up.
