Sothe for brawl.

It would be stupid to put Sothe in because Sakurai said he wouldn't implement small knives or daggers for Snake so why would he do that to Sothe if he can not allow this for Snake?

Well by "lord" he most likely means the main character. Sothe isn't a main character and thus not as important as Ike.

Sothe was a main character at the beginning of the newest Fire Emblem game.

Well if Sothe's importance to the story is on equal standing with both Mikaya and Ike, then I would say he has better chances than I first thought.

No. Jeigans just excort the Lord to safety for the first few parts of the game. After that, that's it. After that all they may do is provide occasional advice to the Lord, but everyone kind of does that. Sothe would be a poor representitive when characters like Ike, Micaiah, Elincia and Sanaki have actual importance and are required for the plot to move on. Sothe doesn't lead any battle.

He's saying that the Jaigans' (in this case, Sothe) role is to protect the Lords for the first few chapters. After the Lords become strong enough to handle themselves, they become obsolete.

The way Snake uses the knife is much different on how Sothe uses his dagger. Snake's knife style is more realistic and violent.

Stickers don't deconfirm but I doubt Sothe will be playable anyway.

Yeah. Stickers are just a png pasted in Brawl. Don't be suprised if they have every art of every (significant) Fire Emblem character as a sticker, since they are expected to be far more abundant than trophies.

Sothe's awesome. He contributes to the storyline fairly well, but sadly he has a small chance because of competition with Black Knight, Miciah, and Marth.

Well, he's really lame after everyone else promotes. :/ It's the lack of might that really hurts. Fighters with a single swing of the axe are sometimes doing up three times the damage Sothe does at an equal level. Though Sothe has good speed and utility so he's a nice guy to have around. At least from my experiences.

Then you're using him wrong..I'm at the part where you're in Daein Keep and have to kill Jarod.

He is a pseudo Jeigan, so of course he'll be good in the first part of the game. Though like most Jeigans, he falls out of style when everyone promotes. If you find a Fire Emblem character is really strong at the start of the game, it is a prepromote and using them only sponges up valuable EXP that would better benefit someone weaker. They mostly exist as a last resort to weaken bosses or clear up enemies you goofed up on.

I don't recall me ever implying that I, or anyone should, allow for the death of anyone in any Fire Emblem game. All I said is prepromotes are on standby while weaker units you plan to use later get the EXP instead since they get like up to twenty times more EXP for the kill.

Sothe is a thief that owns in battle for the first half of the game, and then are doing low damage in the end, but from what I've heard, has no trouble surviving.

Sothe is pretty much GUARANTEED a top tier slot on the list. Seriously.

Matthew is top in FE7, Colm in FE8....

Same here. I wouldn't like it if I'm at the end of the game and I only have 3 units (one of them being the lord). It's more fun when you have the whole army with you.

Agreed.
I doubt he would post a picture of anyone that is playable. That would mean Dixie Kong, Tingle, and Silver the Hedgehog are also not playable (not that I care).
