sorry I put this in the wrong section but here it goes

This is only going to be a fun tourament. Here are the rules

3 stock 8 minute matches.

each round will contain best of three matches

finals, however, will be best of five matches

only one character per entry

no cheating tatics allowed (ex. infinite dimmensional cape, etc.)

no stalling allowed

Bowser's suicide rule in effect

In case of ties: stock first, percentage, sudden death

smash balls are allowed but those must be set to low

all other items should be off

choose from any of these stages:


Battlefield

Final Destination

Delfino Plaza

Pirate Ship

Yoshi's Island (Brawl)

Halberd

Lylat Cruise

Pokemon Stadium 2

Castle Siege

Smashville

Green Greens

Pokemon Stadium (Melee)

loser gets to pick after the first match

sign up by posting the number right after the previous staring with the #2 as I called #1 and also make sure you have a brawl friend code displayed by your username

sign up ends when the max of 8 entrants is reached

Finally will the winner of each match please post right here so that I can update the brackets after every round.

Once the 8 man field is set all must enter all of the friend codes on this thread and be online at a TBA time. Also no one disconnects from either this thread or the Nintendo Wi-Fi unless you are eliminated.

Stages in bold are extremely bad in an online tournament setting, and you'd also be advised to clean up the overall format of your OP. But I'll join.

You are a little late there all eight participants have been entered. I am going to post a bracket soon with the username on this fourm and the nickname that I used on my wii. I am thinking about starting the tourament at three at the latest. Let me know what you think about when to start it. But for now please turn on all of your wiis and enter all of the brawl friend codes that are on this fourm including mine. I'll go on ahead and list all of the participants in the first post with username, friend code, and nickname that I used on my wii. I'll announce when the tourament has begun and it's time to log onto wi-fi.

Like I said this ain't a hardcore tourament. This is just for me to get a chance to play against other people and to have some fun. Also Shadowfirex100 can we start the tourament Sunday afternoon at around one or so or is it better we do it at 6 or 7. Let me know ASAP.

Yes, but right now you have to send reminders right now. Then send them again when we start at least 20 minutes before we start. PM those 8 people.

I say at 6-7 EST.

sounds great I'll go on ahead and message everyone on the bracket to add all of the friend codes if not already and then remind everyone on this fourm to log on by 6:40 eastern/5:40 central
