You can do this by performing a Super Pivot at the ledge and taunting. Certain characters will carry their momentum during the taunt and slide.

This works with certain characters and their smashes too. Possibly tilts? I'd have to search for the original video.

I think Sonic gets a slight slide on his Dsmash, but unfortunately iirc he doesn't get a major slide on any of his attacks.

I hope we can get a bigger slide on Side Taunt because that'd be ill.

It actually works with all of his attacks, I just used taunt for extra style points.
