Well, I sure didn't." -immediately warps the other direction to summon a black hole, trapping him in there, before warping back to Star- "You were ordered to retreat, not fight the enemy. B and I are buying you time by making sure this guy doesn't follow you. And I've fought him before so you can trust me when I say you only have two choices; make use of that time to leave or let him kill you."

...But I can't honestly say either of you are wrong, either...Speaking from experience, my people's old king was a good man who cared about everyone, but declared war on all humans in a moment of rage and grief after losing both of his and the queen's children in one night, one of them due to being killed by human villagers in a freak misunderstanding. But he had so much love for all life that he couldn't bring himself to follow through on his threat, and that was by far for the best, but the promise of the war gave our people false hope we would be freed from the underground kingdom our people had been magically sealed in for centuries, and he never admitted that he no longer wanted to kill any humans or carry out the war, instead letting everyone believe for several years more that freedom was always within arm's reach when it never really was...

I used to look up to him more than absolutely anyone else in life. But now...? I...don't know how good of a leader he was, but he was a good person, and he did truly care about his people...The Yiga Clan's leader, whoever they were...it sounds like they cared about their people, too, but that they also made the opposite mistake of wanting to carry out a campaign of death and chaos...And knowing the kind of person incarnations of Ganondorf usually are, I doubt the Yiga would've been spared from his rampage, and even if they were...that doesn't excuse their leader from leading their people down such a dark path of blind hatred and merciless bloodshed...

-While Undyne hasn't mentioned ever being a leader to anyone but a small but loyal band of skilled royal guards, there was oddly a notable hint of self-depreciation in her tone when she spoke the very last part of that sentence...It's possible that she may have feared potentially going down the same dark path as the Yiga's leader at some point, or, while Mineru likely wouldn't be able to deduce this due to being very new here and thus lacking knowledge about it, if everything Sans has said about resets and alternate timelines is true, that Undyne or at least one alternate counterpart of herself really did take that path in at least one timeline...-

If nothing else, he was putting both his own people and countless innocent people at risk by knowingly trying to help someone as dangerous and selfish as Ganondorf, and THAT'S what marks him as a terrible leader as far as I'm concerned. Putting the live sof your own people at risk and knowingly targeting innocents all because of some petty desire for vengeance, even if was solely because he wanted what he believed was best for his people.

At ths same time, though...I'm honestly considering recounting that she fully passed on. I regret not having Frisk be more relevant to the thread with how they're literally the main protagonist of Undertale and plays a pivotal role in both the story and delivering one of the game's core messages, and while tragedy stories are a thing, I think it's a disservice to their character to just more or less write them out with a random excuse like having them die off-screen and only bringing them back as a ghost for very specific storylinees.
