They're communists, due to their politics they only of bigger numbers of people. Until they see the city they'll be depoloyed to, and how using underground railoraods, plus taking in count the armament of the enemy having no means of aerial support, they could easily dispatch their designed objective and then go to the other Federation group, which would earn them a higher reputation-

-Tanya says they can bring alcohol for when they celebrate, Weiss revealing they got even more now after winning in some card game bets. Tanya jokes "My, Weiss, you'd think that the second in command would act more disciplined" to which he clarifies Viktoriya did it, the woman a bit embarrassed. Next day the battalion is deployed, and things went just as planned, Tanya being shown later to salute the lieutenant they helped-
