How does the Switch version compare to the original? I've heard some people say that the controls are a bit weird for Final Remix.
Honest to hell.

The Switch controls are ****. Square Enix did everything amazing with this port but it's either Wii style or touch screen and both are awkward. No standard controls.

And admittedly, the extra story content kinda felt a bit tacked on, no smooth continuity and too much reused assets. It's a great way to play it for the visual presentation, music and stuff but not really for anything else. I still love the game in this form of course but could have do so much more work.

Now that I think about it, Xenoblade 1 would be a slightly similar case to me but that's for another day.

I know I'm a little late on this, but RIP Chadwick Boseman. I never thought that he wasn't doing too well, and it's sad to know that he was fighting this cancer for around five years. That said, the fact that he was fighting this while making his movies really shows his character and drive. It's very impressive that he would keep going despite what he was dealing with, and I hope that the work he put into his movies will be fondly remembered for what he's done for them.

My copy of Battle for Bikini Bottom just came in.

I haven't actually seen much of this version. Should be interesting to see the changes.

Ah, okay; I'm pretty hesitant now on grabbing it for Switch then. Maybe I'll scout around for the DS original and pick it up if the price isn't too steep.

As for XC:DE, I personally really enjoyed the extra story content (although I do wish the antagonist was much more fleshed out) and thought the remaster was a huge upgrade since I had previously only experienced the 3DS version. Shame that Monolith was held back by their budget to truly go above and beyond with it, though.

Welp, looks like it’s finally time to add a new game to my roster
B67BDC0E-1C1B-4299-9BBD-94CCCDAEDAFA.jpeg

I have a entire binder of em somewhere but I haven’t seen it in years so I’m honestly pretty sure it’s gone now. As for the now I have just have a bunch of cards/packs sitting around but only now just kinda went “**** it” and read up on the rules, mostly because I’ve kinda learned everything for the other card games I play and want to try something new for once. Whatever deck I “build” with these cards is gonna be **** though so I’m gonna need to restart my collection/buy a precon asap. As a side note rotation sucks ass(which is a can of worms I would much rather not debate over) and I’m glad Pokemon has a nonrotating format. It’s the entire reason I even considered starting to play period. Anyway... let’s see what I got... hopefully me hole punching the packs didn't damage the cards...

If you only want to play exclusively for the story and music, I'd get for Switch and put on easy mode. You could plough through the game in a few evenings.

As for XC:DE, I 100% agree. I enjoyed the extras and the game gotta the facelift it needed. Just wished it went further than that and the more I played and got through it made, the more it sort of became a "check it off the list" to complete than enjoying. Both games are still among probably 10 all time favourites but both could have always done more but that's the way it is.

New trailer for the upcoming Wonder Boy Game:

Since It is SEGA I will tag osby osby and Speed Weed Speed Weed
Looks very nice. I've made a number of attempt to beating the Genesis version but never been able to do so for whatever reason. I will definitely try this.

So I was looking around in my desk: looking for my binder, and I stumbled upon this
BE4C55C9-1274-4256-B927-A0E1A76B6C0D.jpeg

I don’t even want to imagine how long that’s been sitting in my desk, consider the fact there’s ton of stuff from literal decades ago in their I never bothered to clean out.

It's **** like this that makes me embarrassed to call myself a Nintendo fan sometimes. ****ing slays me how apathetic some people can really be.
Seriously, this self-entitled nonsense has been irritating me to no end. ****ing selfish dip****s, all of them!

Tier list?

Now I'm curious.
Oh about rating the common user ones?

That'd be interesting.
Yeah, I'd be ranking the pfps of the regulars in our little social thread here.

...Thing is, I'd hate to overlook someone and hurt anyone's feelings over my own personal rankings (nobody would be below a 7, but still). Undecided on doing it.
