We only had a 4 years of Black Panther. Kids were supposed to grow up with him for a decade or more, just like the previous generation grew up with Captain America or Iron Man.

This is bull****. 2020 is, objectively, absolute ****ing garbage. And it’s not even over.

This is ass.

RIP Chadwick. Wakanda Forever.

I know most people here know him as Black Panther, but I first saw him in the movie 42.

That movie helped me be in touch with my race and skin color a lot, and I'm grateful for that.

Just losing him so soon is just... ugh
I'm not good at saying stuff like this so forgive me if I say something a bit out but I'm glad you feel proud of it.

And really hearing him passing away, he was an idol to people and I fully can see why someone like you look up to him.

Honestly looking up to someone who is an inspiration to others whether of culture, the arts or even politics and hearing someone who helped even just a tiny bit push humanity forward pass away is saddening, and really with the madness going on in the world it couldn't have happened at a worse time when we need that light.

I really, really hope 2020 or beyond, us as humans will find it regardless of where you are or who you are.

I'm going to bed, just a bit of a shock. Goodnight to you guys.

People need to stop blaming the year for what's going on.

2020 as a year is just a number...Don't count on a new year to come as if it's going to change everything. Waiting for 2020 to end as if 2021 is going to be better is just going to lead to disappointment if it ends up being just as bad or even worse. Don't sit and wait for a new year for things to get better, because you'll just keep waiting for the next year if it doesn't meet expectations. It's up to you to make your time better when you can, despite what happens in the world.

I don't like to blame the year itself for whatever problems occur during it, since that's obviously not the case, buuut at the same time I get why others may tend to see a particularly rough year as a bad chapter of life that they might want to close the door on as soon as possible.

This applies to whenever someone's just had a bad year from a personal standpoint, as well.

I see what you mean.

I hate this year in a way for myself but I think it's best to call it a "transitional" year.

And for me I had stuff built up and the pandemic crashed it down. Its been pretty hard to pick up the pieces after if you know what I mean.

There will be better days ahead though. That I'm sure of.

Definitely do not blame the year. Lots I can say, but I try not to bring politics into this forum as many of you already know. All I can say is that it is up to us to make sure some things change for next year.

Pandemic actually taught me something pretty important! For a preface, I'm immune-compromised. There have been many times when I've gone to spend the day with my boyfriend, and end up going into the early signs of getting sick after (which, I can avoid getting completely sick as long as I forego my Erivedge for a while). I never knew whether I was picking up something my boyfriend's body easily fended off, or picking up something from Target/Walgreens/wherever we shopped. Well, now we have only done light shopping online for months and months. And I haven't shown the early signs of sickness in goodness knows how long. It's pretty important that I now know shopping was the problem. I might continue to wear a face mask and I'll always use hand sanitizer after shopping once covid wanes

I know, and agree...but still, I simply hate it. All we can do is hope for things to get better.

To lighten the mood a little. We got a sick remix of Wolverine's theme from Children of the Atom. This dude's working on Storm's and Cyclops' themes as well, but they'll premiere tomorrow.

Alright, before I go to bed, figure I share what I been working today. No new info, as some of you will find it familiar.

Some of you who know my older oc might connect the dots, but otherwise, hope you enjoy it.

Guh-Huzzah! Guh-Huzzah! , @AndreaAC , @JDCabrera , Knight Dude Knight Dude , @Wademan94 , @Dyllybirdy , @Tako Tuesday . Taylor F tag isn't here, is that normal?

Song I listened while making this.
He's getting better. I really like the shilouette on this character too. Keep up the great work!

Or can we hope there will be some damn light after all this, really hoping for it globally. News like this, pandemic, politics, it's tiring.

The year has been depressing honestly, regardless of who you are and where you are from. Whether you are from a small place like Ireland or a large country like the US it's been hit after hit.

We are human though, we are nothing but persistent against time and fate. I hope there will be better times for us all........hopefully.

That's how it sunk in for me realising it. The man's performance as T'Challa was generation and historically defining for kids who were this born the past decade. It's sad to see him go for their sake.
I’m just imagining how much tact Disney won’t have while recasting him. No way they’re gonna just retire the character.

Anyone else feel like we’re due for Smash? I don’t know. It just feels like there’s a surge of smash related content on YouTube right now. Or maybe I’m just imagining things. Yeah. It’s probably that. Nintendo probably cancelled fighters pass 2.

Sighs. Ya’ll ever think about the fact that 2020’s almost over, and it doesn’t look at all like things are getting better? I don’t even want to hope for things to get better. I put all that hope into hoping 2020 would be better and now all this has happened. Is it even reasonable to have hope anymore? The pattern so far has dictated that things will just get worse again. It’s like the universe detected that my generation had too much optimism and decided to make us dead inside like every other generation.

I’m actually devastated by Chadwicks passing. I’ve followed him since 42 and he started and exceeded expectations in what is one of, if not, my favorite Marvel movies ever. I am heartbroken. The man was an angel. A person who inspired me.

I cannot fathom the heartbreak of the kids of color who looked up to this hero. First Kobe and now Chadwick. We’re losing people that lead change faster than what is reasonable. This year has been horrible. For everyone. I just hope we walk out of this stronger, closer. But man, I just wish Chadwick could’ve walked with us.

Rest In Peace, in Power. King of Wakanda. Always. Wakanda Forever. Always. ✊🏿🙅🏿‍♂️

What a awkward time to woke up to.

First off, RIP Chadwick, I watched Black Panter & Civil War, and in both movies, he did a great job. I hope his legacy continue to live for years, Wakanda Forever.

Second off, @NonsensicalThings , so you were alive all along, huh?

Ya wanted a great comeback, but no one can escape my eyes when it come to tagging, especially when I'm half-asleep.

So to take our minds off of this for a brief moment, the Friday direct rumors were false to the surprise of no one.
It's looking more and more possible for a 9/4/20 direct, exactly one year after the last main direct, 9/4/19.

Is it likely? of course not. Would it be funny as hell? I for one think it would be :gova:

edit: 9/4 is also the day that VBT11 Isabelle is getting revealed, you bet your ass I'm gonna make a joke about that.

Holy ****, rest in peace Chadwick Boseman
I'm very saddened to hear the passing of Chadwick Boseman. I remembered first watching his role as the Black Panther during Captain America: The Civil War and I felt that he was one of the stand out actors within the film and I knew straight he would make a great T'Challa/Black Panther.

My thoughts are with his family and friends and may he rest in peace.

Now here is something that I need to rant about why do some Facebook groups/pages even exist?

So I was browsing around Google and I found a particular Facebook group (which I will not name due to its use of offensive language) which pokes fun at the MCU and I was really shocked and angered about what one of the posts which I will edit:

"Look, we don't make fun of the dead as u guys did with Snyder's daughter everyday on social media."

It really angers me that whoever thought of the idea of using a comparison with Chadwick Boseman's death to Zack Snyder's daughter's death as an opportunity to attack the fans of Marvel Cinematic Universe, its just plain sad and not funny.

Both Chadwick Boseman's and Zack Snyder's daughter's death are both tragic and it is certainly something that no-one should ever use because it would be very disrespectful to both families. As someone who is a fan of the Superhero genre, I do have respect for the two and shared my condolences.

I also want to post this video from two years ago from the Jimmy Fallon Show:

Tbh It would be funny. I will literally do anything if they do a double direct around the end of the year just to make up for lost time. It's a feeling that Nintendo will

Good afternoon guys.

Turns out my best friend didn't pass the trial of a part time job. Apparently his lack of self confidence got the better of him and panicked when talking to a customer. According to one of my friends, he was heartbroken when he found out he didn't make the cut. Gonna have to cheer him up.

Outside of that, nothing really much to say for now. I could do story but my brother is being loud, so I'm going for a music lie down.

How are you guys now?
