If I remember correctly. But it’s also.... already made. On a system who’s assets and games are super easy to port over the Switch. Like, you’d probably just need to give it a new texture pack and that’s it. Maybe re-record the Star Fox lines with the new cast.

Am I supposed to be seeing something significant there? It’s all just sharper textures and better lighting with more power behind it.

If we didn't get Yggdrasil as a stage, we would have gotten the volcano dungeon from Dragon Quest instead.
Idk why that stage out of everything in Dragon Quest 11, considering that there are other landmarks that were far more important, but I am glad that they stuck to their guns.

I’m just saying Travis Touchdown is in the perfect position to be the hero of this pass.

By which I mean a popular but still not widely character with a big new game coming that they want to sell.

Smash would be the perfect advertisement for him as his game will be coming out during the pass’s run. Plus Sakurai is good friends with his creator, so it feels pretty likely imo.

Maybe it’s not as clear in these stages, some of them do have some remodeling going on, it’s more prominent in stages like Bridge of Eldin, though looking back on OGA I guess if it were to return, it might not take as much time though I’m not sure the full extent of how they’d improve it. The voices need improvement for sure.

So since the Byleth drama settled down, I think it's fair to say that nothing has surprassed the Piranha Plant salt. Byleth only has DLC hype -> dissapointment combo, Plant had Kencineroar being revealed + Deconfirmation of the Grinch + Deconfirmation of many fan picks + The Spirit Massacre + Rex Dying + Being the FIRST DLC character to get into Ultimate over everyone else. It was not a plesant day.


On the plus side, it did bring in Plantposting

So that’s like 6 months of time they could have had on this character depending on how far along Byleth and terry were.

A reveal doesn’t sound that farfetch’d imo

Hey if I’m wrong then great.

I’d love to see what radical characters will come next (and the Pokémon which only I will think is radical) as soon as possible. But my more pessimistic side is telling me we’re in for a wait.

We’ll see. There’s definitely gonna be a direct next month, we’ll find out then.

If they go for it I’d think they’d mix it up a bit, to avoid being a copy of PT.

But in all likelihood it’ll probably just be a solo Pokémon. My money’s on one of the starters. Any one of them would be really cool.

It'll be hard to top Your Name for me. Just annoyed that some places only show anime like once in cinema. Happened with Konosuba and happened with this. Plus evening showings are a pain in the ass for me.

Okay imagine this

Galar Pokémon gets in, and they bring the kickass gym theme with them. But it’s not a static song, just like the game it changes along with where you are in the fight. And when you’re on your last stock and everything’s tense the radical crowd cheering comes in to pump you up and lead you to victory!

...which doesn’t save you from the “DORYAH” but y’know. It’s the thought that counts
