So something weird happened when I was playing Smash 3DS.. something similar to the one that happened to some one in here (3.0). After finishing a match, I get this weird glitch in which my profile / name and character get replaced by the other player's stuff. Let's say my on-screen name is Flight and have Dedede as my character, but after ending the match, my name is different and the character is Little Mac. Weird, I know.

Take a wild guess which one of these guys are next after Duck Hunt. And it won't be the Nintendog or else PETA would sue Nintendo's Cherbil cheeks.

Did you read my mind?! *laughs* I actually thought of the GamePad being an actual character; its arms would be Wii Remotes and would float. Or its own buttons can do the trick. The stylus and touchscreen would be parts of the Up+B and smash attacks. Yeah, it's a coincidence, isn't it.

I can't wait until New Year's Eve tomorrow since I'm planning to do something different that the usual "get drunk off sparkling water scenario" I do at home. A friend that I've recently known from my last semester (Who would prefer me to call her by the term "girlfriend") wants to invite me over to her house for the day. This specific girl is someone who I had been talking to for the entire fall semester, whether it's when we are in class or even one our cellphones during the weekend at certain times. She's quite the interesting individual since she acts like the total opposite of what I would expect out of a girl (Does tae kwon do, swears like there's no tomorrow, can speak in fluent Japanese, loves to roughhouse for fun, can be best described as a Class A "weaboo", is extremely open about her sexuality, and loves to watch flamewars). So yeah, I have a habit of running into some pretty weird people and I haven't really talked about it here since some might not want to believe me. Hell, I least expected a girl in college to be this interested in a guy like me.

Now what really got me about this girl was two things: her "confession" and the Christmas presents. On the very last day of the last semester when we were getting ready to leave (Since we do usually leave out at the same time on Thursdays), she forcefully grabbed my hand and wanted me to face her. She straight up said that despite the fact that we knew each other just for this semester that she really loves me. Since I this was very suspicious and too good to be true, I accused her of trolling me and plotting the old friendzone trick. Then she said that she's not ****ing kidding at all and seriously has the hots for me since the first Animal Behavior class. During my state of shock after that statement, she said that we'll have to talk more often to further build our relationship and she'll gladly be ready for mating 3 years from now. After that very moment, I was left in that state of shock for the entire weekend since I legitimately thought I was dreaming. On Christmas Day, I had a few things in the mail from someone in the city: A J-World Koro-Sensei figurine and a fanmade manga of the two of us dating. I've called her in regards to the issue and her very answer was "Merry Christmas Boo Boo!" (Those nicknames she give me are rather wild).

So overall, this was literally the most interesting thing that ever happened to me in a college semester or even on Christmas. I didn't really as for a gift at all yet she felt obligated to do so. I've not that dense to begin with, but I can easily tell that this girl is crushing the hell out of me from the hair petting habit she had to the romantic undertones of her handdrawn manga that I got. One thing for sure is that my parents took this whole situation very well, even congratulating me on finding someone that's pretty and wants to marry me (Those *******s had to spread the news to the entire family after all of this -_-).

*Sigh* Sorry for the wall of text and all, but I just couldn't believe that all of this is happening to me at the end of the year. Not that I'm legitimately complaining or anything.

There's something I'd like to ask in regards to how characters play in Smash 4. Have any of you dropped character(s) in Smash 4 that you've mained/seconded for most of the smash games?
Let me explain better.

I've always been a Yoshi main and Ganondorf second in all of the smash games (just replace Ganon with Falcon in 64, Falcon is my tertiary in the other smashes anyway), and up until Smash 4's release, I was super pumped to play as my favorite duo yet again.
Except I was met with disappointment.
Most of the returning characters were "dumbed down" or made way safe/easy to use. I feel they made Yoshi way too safe and easy (and overbuffed) in this game. Ganondorf wasn't affected too much though.

Am I the only one who's gone through a complete character overhaul due to this, or am I just crazy? I've been called crazy before because I don't like using "high tier" or easy-to-use/safe characters.

Well at least you're not maining instead like everyone else in Smash 4 right now, so I'll say you're not crazy to change mains just because they are too safe or too good for you.
I can't really say anything about this, since I only main mid-tier/low-tier characters (,,,, ect...) and the closest "high-tier" that I've mained and changed was . Play what you want lad, it's better.

Don't worry, I definitely play who I want. It just feels weird to turn away from my favorite Nintendo character and favorite moveset/playstyle due to this. Sucks, but hey, live and learn.
