Sounds like 2005 Nintendo.

Even if there were hackers, I enjoyed playing Mario Kart DS online. I actually didn't care if I won or lost a race. I know Mario Kart 7 is superior in that aspect of things (online), but I don't like the game as much as its predecessor.

Oh no don't get me wrong Mario Kart DS was the Melee of Mario Kart (for me at least), but the online was buggy as hell. I prefer MKDS than 7 any day. 8 is probably the closest I've gotten to the enjoyment I had with MKDS.

Okay, here's Day 6. Dankey Kang builds a tree house and invites Shrek, apologizing for assaulting his swamp. As they tell stories to each other, Vince steals **** from MC Hammer, only to get injured in the process of doing so. While Vince is treating his infected wound and MC Hammer sets himself up for the night, Garfielf and Chris Brown commit suicide.

Day 7 started off with a bang that eventually fizzled out. Shrek and Dankey decide to hunt down the remaining two tributes Vince Offer and MC Hammer. Shrek manages to chase down Vince, but he escapes. Dankey Kang was more unfortunate, as MC Hammer knew of the big *** ape's presence in advance and sneak attacked him.

That's true, but I haven't played MK8 online yet. I stopped playing MK7 regularly after the godsend that is Smash 3DS came out, so that's good I guess.

I never got around to playing Sinnoh but I did get Soul Silver and that is still the only game I trained a Pokemon from 5 to 100 in (Meganium)
