Smashbot's Yoshi Series Idea

Seeing as how this would've been closed if it was in the actual Yoshi section...

I thought of something today. The possibility of THREE Yoshi reps.

Not Birdo. I'm sensible enough. And NOT Baby Mario (Baby Luigi).

Here are my thoughts:

Rep 1. Yoshi

Pros: Confirmed, so... cons are moot in case.



Rep 2. Kamek

Pros: Is Bowser's surrogate father.

A main villain in a Yoshi game.

Would be a rather uniquely created character, with his magic and broom.

Cons: Is a small villain compared to Bowser, and may overall be ignored.

Hasn't appeared in a game since the remake of Yoshi's Island (About 2002)

Reason: Kamek is outrageously overlooked in these here parts. In a sense, he is THE original bad guy. He's also not just another sword user, but a spell caster. This, and a very unique moveset, would ultimately make Kamek a good charrie, doubtless of his low popularity.

Now, who's number 3?

Rep 3. Shy Guy (WTFOMGNFWBBQ!!!) Shut it. I know his chances are low.

Pros: Would more likely appear as a YOSHI rep, and another villain, as he has a bigger role as an enemy in Yoshi games.

Would have an amazing moveset based on his variations, like Fly Guy and Stilt Guy.

He would be the ultimate WTF character, alongside Mr. Game n Watch.

Cons: LOOOOOOOOOOOW chances.

Apparently deconfirmed from the Mario Circuit stage.

Produces idiots who argue that Shy Guy was already deconfirmed from the Yoshi's Island stage.

1. That is FLY GUY. Believe it or not, two separate people. Google it.

2. The art styles. If the idiots out there think that Shy Guy couldn't make it because of THAT, then you're stupid. Wind Waker Link and Paper Mario say hi.



I hope this has gave some ideas to improve the amount of Yoshi reps.

Really? Huh, must have skipped that part (when I was younger, I had the tendency to skip dialouge in RPG's by mashing "A" in cut scenes to get back to game play.)

Because Bowser Jr. isn't Yoshi series.

Bowser Jr. is, needless to say, Bowser's son. Since Bowser has fought Mario more, than he's a Mario villain.

Not Yoshi's Story, but Yoshi's Island. I don't care if it's 2D or 3D, Yoshi deserves a Wii game of his own, with quality, like Yoshi's Island, not Yoshi's Story.

Also, a good Yoshi rep would be Shy Guy for sure, but he's been seen in the game already flying around in the Yoshi level and racing in karts on the Mario Circuit stage. Kamek would be nice, but I think it's a little hard to give him much of a moveset, because of his robe. But then Peach and Zelda have dresses and they still managed to get them playable, so I guess the robe stuff won't stop him from getting in.

I don't really think the Yoshi series will get another rep anyway, no matter how badly people would want one.

And NO to Birdo, she's not a Yoshi character, even while she's often teamed with Yoshi in the sports games. Which I never really liked. Birdo is good as a boss, but I don't like her playable.
