Yesterday, Alex Strife announced the first details of Apex 2014 - an international Smash tournament featuring every Super Smash Brothers game taking place January 17-19, 2014. Apex has a long history as the premier Smash tournament and last year attracted 770 entrants across the three main events - still the largest Smash tournament to date. To ensure Apex 2014 continues the explosive growth of the competitive Smash community, Smashboards will for the first time in it's 13 year history enter into an official partnership with a live tournament. This fulfills a long-held goal of putting Premium Membership funds straight back into the community and every Smasher who has supported Smashboards over the years has helped make this partnership with Apex 2014 a reality.
