Submit taunts and/or victory animations for Birdo and/or The Stork

Please submit 4 taunts and/or 4 victory animations for Birdo and/or The Stork!

Submit a villain stage!

Please submit a stage based on a villain! Stages based on anti-heroes like Wario and reformed villains like Cranky Kong are allowed so long as they're based on a game where they played a villainous role.

Submit a Luigi's Mansion newcomer!

Please submit a newcomer from the Luigi's Mansion series! Note that King Boo and generic ghosts are disconfirmed and Poltergust Luigi won't be allowed due to us adding a Poltergust alt for Luigi.

Stage: Super Bowser Maker

This could be considered a bit of a sequel to the Super Mario Maker stage - in fact, it uses the exact same layouts that stage does! However, there are a few differences that make it a much more chaotic experience: For one, stage is continually being built, and will over time be changed into an entirely different layout bit by bit - however, there are many new parts that can be added! (⬅ denotes an item that can be put on rails)
  1. Buzzsaws ⬅
  2. Bumpers⬅
  3. Twisters⬅
  4. Burners
  5. POW Blocks⬅
  6. Trampolines⬅
  7. Icicles
  8. Swimmable water
  9. Fire Bar⬅
  10. Beep blocks

Mario 3D World is not included in the style rotation. Items will very rarely spawn from pipes. There is rising and lowering lava, but it's only in the background and can't deal damage.

Melody Pianissima

The beautiful pianist, I imagine Melody would have a musical-based moveset. I feel she'd either walk around with a piano as part of her frame, or have some kind of piano possession (be it a stance change or just a few transformation attacks) where she turns her piano into the Mad Piano.

Boolossus is my Luigi Mansion Newcomer

My stage will be Ghost Galaxy(Villain: Bouldergeist)
Would you mind giving more details and, if possible, an image?

Villain Stage: Wart's Throne

This stage features two stage hazards - The first being the Dream Machine in the background. Occasionally, this machine will fire out turnips and other assorted veggies, which will land in the lower center of the stage. These act like throwable items for fighters to make use of!

You're gonna need those veggies to take out the second hazard - Wart himself! The frog king will appear on either side of the screen and spew bubbles out of his mouth, being able to damage opponents. While he will leave on his own after spewing out three volleys of bubbles, any fighter lucky enough to toss two veggies into his mouth before he leaves will cause him to croak, giving the fighter a point in the process!

Suit Of Armor

There are plenty of possessed suits of medieval European armor hanging around Luigi's many frightening locales, and I think adding one would be pretty cool. This one would be armed with an axe, just like in the penultimate boss of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, and it wouldn't actually have a visible ghost in it (like the ones in most Luigi's Mansion appearances). Suit's moveset would be like Byleth's done right, with a bit of a spooooky element to it.

Fingers crossed this is unique enough to bypass the generic ghosts rule

A bit of a spur-of-the-moment discussion:

Discussion: Should Melee Yoshi Adventure and Trophy Tussle 1 return?

Since we brought back Meta Crystal, I think we should at least discuss these two, more directly Mario-related 1 player stages.

I personally am in favour of bringing back these stages, but I do worry Melee Yoshi Adventure may be a bit too aesthetically similar to a lot of the other grassy plains stages - I'm also not opposed to just making the entire Melee Mushroom Kingdom stage into a scrolling stage and having the Yoshi battle arena be it's hazards off form, being closer to the lake would also make it a lot more distinct if it were the full scrolling stage. The name would also have to be changed - I like "Mushroom Lake" or "Yoshies' Kingdom"

Trophy Tussle 1 is a difficult stage to play on due to the distance between Goomba's head and feet (though this could easily be remedied by changing its pose to that of the Brawl trophy), and would also likely need a new name since trophies aren't a thing in this game. Similarly to my idea of scrolling Mushroom Kingdom, I do like the idea of making this stage a sort of Poké Floats sequel stage, I'm just not sure what would be used - the Mario; Yoshi; and DK trophies directly ripped from Melee? Just enemies? I think I prefer changing to the Brawl pose as a solution though.

Given how unanimous the support for the Poké Floats approach is, what I'll do is write a submission esque writeup for the Trophy Tussle Goomba and see if everyone's OK with what I come up with or have any ideas for how to expand or improve it.

Fiendish Floats

This is a sequel to Poké Floats. Unlike Poké Floats, the floats here - which are of enemies - spawn in a random order in random locations and sizes, with some limited specifications on which can spawn where for navigatability's sake. You always start on Goomba (which is posed like its Brawl trophy) though. The following enemies are featured
  1. Wiggler (Soft platform with rising and lowering bumps)
  2. Huckit Crab (Arm rotates slightly)
  3. Shellcreeper (Will retract into shell after a while)
  4. Blooper Nanny (flies by, and its babies follow)
  5. Bullet Bill (Spawns in batch and flies by quick like Poké Floats Unown)
  6. Piranha Plant (Appears from a side of the screen and opens its mouth)
  7. Bully (Spikes can be used as walls like the Majora's Mask Trophy Tussle)
  8. Hammer Bro (Doesn't throw hammers, but its pose is it about to throw one)
  9. Chain Chomp (Doesn't open mouth)
  10. Hop-Chop (Moves its jaw up and down, lowering and heightening a ceiling in progress)
  11. Conkdor (Serves as a wall and slowly pecks down)
  12. Paragoomba (Flaps wings up and sown)
  13. Fliprus (Tail curls and uncurls like Slowpoke in Poké Floats)
  14. Lava Bubble (Flies into the stage from the top or bottom, between two other platforms, and returns. Can't be passed through)
  15. Bramball (Walks around the stage in its usual pattern)
  16. Dry Bones (Upon spawning, will split apart and fly away slowly with all except head and torso being soft)
  17. Cheep Cheep (Moves up and down)
  18. Cataquack (Moves its beak up but never down)
  19. Flame Chomp (Sloped soft platform)
None of them deal any type of damage. The Omega form is a Thwomp (Omega forms probably have walls given both Cap Kingdom and Star Road have them) while the Battlefield form's platforms are Flame Chomps. You can see the floats in the background flying by.

The stage's background would be the same as in Trophy Tussle, but it would change colours like Melee's Menus.

Aanyway
Birdo taunts
  1. Up: Birdo raises one leg, looks behind, and blows a kiss to the screen
  2. Down: Birdo briefly chases her tail, before looking to the camera and stopping.
  3. Side: Birdo gets out a phone and calls an unknown person
  4. Back: Birdo puts on a feather bow and flaps it behind her
Birdo victories:
  1. Birdo relaxes on a sofa like in this commercial
  2. Birdo kisses the camera and leaves makeup on it, before posing
  3. Birdo walks smugly - this resembles Joker's victory
  4. Birdo grasps a crystal ball and looks to the camera from behind

The Stork taunts
  1. Up: The Stork holds its feathers next to its cheek - if it has the baby, it will put the baby on its head and look upwards on this animation
  2. Side: The Stork gets out a cloud and molds it into the shape of a baby a la Pixar's Partly Cloudy
  3. Back: The Stork checks a map to see if it's made the right turn
  4. Down: The Stork stretches its "shoulders" (wings)

Stork victories
  1. The Stork drops off a baby at a house, the baby it's been fighting with the help of will then appear on its head.
  2. The Stork plays with all the babies including the Baby Bros. and Baby Princesses
  3. The Stork goes through a portal to the past, "Mr. Pipe" follows.
  4. The Stork tells a story to all the babies including the Baby Bros. and Baby Princesses

Call it Baddie Floats instead and we have a deal
(Sounds more uniform with Pokèfloats)
I personally prefer the alliteration, but I am willing to possibly do a poll on the name if everyone's OK with the stage prospect.

Fiendish Floats will be added to the stage list, while Melee Yoshi Adventure's layout will return, but not its aesthetic - a job for its new aesthetic, handled like the last competitive aesthetic job, will be added to my schedule for future jobs.

Reminder to submit for the villain stage and Luigi's Mansion newcomer jobs

Ally: Fire Bar

It spins around, it will grow and shorten in length like it's being edited in Mario Maker

Arcade item: Fighter Fly

When it spawns it sleeps, but if you pick it up and throw it it will start jumping, damaging anyone in its path and jumping up to platforms if they're low enough. It is not 8-bit

Retro item: Key

Uses its sprite from SMW. It appears and quickly despawns, if you pick it up you can wrap around the screen like in the Mario Bros. stage once, even if you're knocked back and not just walking.

Delfino’s Secret
Secret Course
Puzzle Plank Galaxy
Toy Time Galaxy
Casino Slot (Fortune Street)

Arcade Item: Oil Drum

Catches on fire whenever it is attacked enough or hit with any one fire-related attack. Does not summon the Trouble Bug like in the original game (pretty sure WWW would count that as an ally contact).
8-bit Item: Superball Flower

Gives you a Game Boy color palette, lets you shoot grey spheres (also 8-bit) that ricochet off of opponents, platforms (hard and soft), and other projectiles.

Inanimate Contact: Rotating Platform

Somethig a bit like this with one more platform and more of a Mushroom Kingdom-esque theme. Spins around slowly but surely, doesn't do any damage, spawns wherever the summoner was.

E. Gadd alts
  1. Default
  2. Red and green
  3. Green
  4. Black
  5. Yellow and green
  6. Purple and orange
  7. Pink and blue
  8. Goo-E. Gadd (Original, green goo version of E. Gadd)
Basically, equivalents to all of Doc's Ultimate alts except the one that returned

E. Gadd moveset
E. Gadd is a grappler/zoner hybrid who is EXTREMELY good at getting foes where he wants them and uncharacteristically (both for his archetype and character) fast + light to boot, but suffers on virtue of his special moves not dealing any damage whatsoever and his normals lacking in power

Neutral B: Poltergust

E. Gadd sucks a foe near with his Poltergust, he can then go into a bit of a cursor-drag mode to place the foe down wherever he wants within a radius. This is a great move for putting foes in a different place, but also very slow and with a lot of endlag when used successfully, though if you fail to catch you can act out of it quick. This is a command grab

Side B: Get Oozer Here!

E. Gadd creates a string of goo out of the Poltergust - if it catches someone, E. Gadd can pull them as quickly or slowly as he wants (and cancel if he needs) and follow it up however he wants. This has better range to catch than Poltergust; allows a quicker follow up; and lets you place foes where you want them quicker with less worry of them mashing out, but also punishes you more severly if you fail to catch and has less freedom to place the foe.

Down B: Squirt Nozzle

This is is equivalent to Mario's old FLUDD, with one major difference: E. Gadd can move left and right when using it - both for charging and spraying. He can drop down platforms, but not jump.

Up B: Hover Nozzle

E. Gadd rockets up quickly with the Hover Nozzle. This is the closest move to a proper attack in E. Gadd's specials since the water's sweet spot (the nozzle) is a meteor smash - the rest of the water is just a soft downwards windbox. Still doesn't deal damage though. E. Gadd goes high with this, but can only angle during the quick ascent and not the slow descent.

As a small visual detail, the FLUDD will remain on until a Poltergust move is used, where the Poltergust will remain on until a FLUDD move is used. This doesn't change lag or serve as any kind of stance mechanic, just a fun easter egg.

Rawk Final Smash: Tantalizing Takedown

Rawk Hawk lifts the Champ's Belt above his head and snaps it forward (as the length increases tenfold without an explanation), immobolizing anyone not quick enough to dodge. Instead of pulling them in, however, Rawk Hawk runs up to the opponent himself to deliver a Flying Knee! This launches the cutscene where he performs several attacks on an opponent (the one closest within his reach from earlier) as they are launched repeatedly between the reins of an arena and the majestic moves of Rawk Hawk. After a few bounces, Rawk slams the opponent with a metal chair, knocking them unconscious and onto the ground. Rawk Hawk taunts, motions for the crowd to get louder (which it does), and delivers a super destructive People's Elbow to the opponent. We then see a new shot where everything has turned to shilouettes except for Rawk and his opponent, and shortly after impact, many objects (primarily rocks) fall from the ceiling, damaging the other opponents as well (but not as much as if they were caught in the ring).
