Music voting has closed for Cap Kingdom and Luigi's Mansion

Cap Kingdom's tracks are two remixes of Bonneton, Horror Land, and Crescent Moon Village

Luigi's Mansion has GCN/DS Luigi's Mansion locked in, but behind it a mega-draw of 5 songs - therefore I will be doing another elimination poll with the 2 top ranked removed. Remember, vote your LEAST favourite, not most.

Music submissions have been a bit of a hectic thing that hasn't really worked out, so I want to try out a different system in future - would each user submitting 4 and voting on them in batch like like we do with alts sound interesting?

Anyway, speaking of which...
Submit an alts list for Wario

Please submit a list of either 8 or 16 alternate skins for Wario. Please note that Biker will be treated as default unless a later job results in Wario getting a new, more Land-themed moveset, in which case the order will be swapped. If a Wario Land Wario is added as a seperate fighter later we will split up the alts lists and create new alts to fill the gaps for both Warios at the same time

Additionally, the Smash Star will be the Smash Ball equivalent

Honestly think Kamek, Birdo, and even Funky could be their own characters.

Voting has ended for clone fighters!

Good Truthful Giant Honest Ninja Mario = 1
Kip = 1
Kamek & Toady = 1
Koopa Kid = 4
Nipper Plant = 4
Cosmic Spirit = 4
Birdo = 4
Small Mario = 5
Galoomba = 6
Dry Bowser = 12
Funky Kong = 14
Gooigi = 15

With a surprisingly close top 3, New Funky Mode has been activated as Funky Kong and Gooigi will join the battle as Donkey Kong and Luigi's clones! Both courtesy of @Darkonedagger. I want to ask them to elaborate further on the changes between these echoes and their base fighters. A mode job will open soon.

Submit a multiplayer mode.

Please submit a new way to play multiplayer! This can be either co-operative or competitive, but must involve the existing fighting mechanics and stages. Coin mode or Slap City and NASB's sports modes would be a good example to follow.

I'd be willing to let others decide the exact differences tbh.

New Multiplayer Mode: Shine Thief
In reference to the Shine Thief battle modes of Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and 8 Deluxe (as well as partial inspiration from the Mario vs. Luigi mode of New Super Mario Bros.), a Shine Thief round starts like a regular round... That is, until the Shine Sprite appears! The goal of the mode is to be holding the Shine Sprite by the end of the match, and simply dealing enough damage to it will place it in your possession, just like a Smash Star. However, taking substantial amounts of damage or being KO'd will cause you to drop the Shine Sprite, allowing others to pick it up while you respawn.

OK, in that case I'll probably open Gooigi/Funky differences as a job later.

Anyway, my submission will be Combo Contest

You're given the item-summoning tools and static foe of training mode, a time limit, an insane hitstun boost, and are scored by how long the combos you perform with that time are - the biggest score between turn-taking players wins. While there is a CPU to score, you can also get a (group of) player(s) to rank the combos for a more human touch,

Smash Run ~Mario Style~

Smash Run from Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS has returned, but now it's entirely Mario themed! The map will be made up of various Mario series locations that have been unceremoniously mashed together, and all the enemies are from throughout the series... we can go for some really deep cuts this time for enemy choices!

I really like the idea of having Smash Run here, but this unfortunately wouldn't qualify as it needs to involve the existing stages.

Whenever you get hit in this mode, you become smaller. When you get hit while small, you lose a stock. This is meant to be a fast paced mode where spacing is everything and rewards careful play. While also being a neat reference to Mario's original damage system.

Submit stage reskins for Figure-8 Circuit, Peach's Castle 64, and/or Golden Plains*!
*Mushroom Kingdom U, Peach's Castle Melee, and Mario Circuit Wii U are also elegible in the place of the stages they could be considered redundant to, though I'd advise against reskinning them myself due to how much their origins play into their layout

One of our earliest jobs was to reskin a stage's aesthetics to be more unique - this got us the wonderful new stages Mushroom Kingdom 3, Lost Kingdom, and Peach's Birthday Cake - now let's finish off the remaining 3 redundant stages! You can submit as many or little of the 3 as you want.

Peach's Castle 64: Waluigi Pinball

Playing into the pinball-inspired design of this stage, it will be tilted into Waluigi Pinball! The castle itself is replaced with a big Waluigi graphic, and the moving bottom platform is changed to resemble pinball flippers - outside of a slope on the bottom end it's functionally the same.

Golden Plains: Wario's Castle

Wahaha! Wario's castle is littered with shiny coins! The coins all have plus signs on them, resembling the 10 coin from Wario Land; the P switches are frog switches; and the red ring is replaced with with a spiky Wario moustache ring.

Figure-8 Circuit: Frosty Village

Figure-8 Circuit has gotten an overhaul into Frosty Village from Diddy Kong Racing! Partially as a means to not disconfirm a playable DKR rep, and also partially to give a nod to the N64 era fans who still see him as part of the Mario universe, Banjo and his friends will drive by! Additionally, when the drivers go from front to back, they're in planes! Inside a monitor held up by candy canes, the DKRDS bottom screen is used in the place of the MKDS one, complete with the weird spinning minigame upon countdown!

We don't have a proper Battle Track represented might as well represent one of the more popular ones with some liberty taken.

This stage now takes place in between 2 of the block forts the exact forts that the stage is in between is random each game and the background has a bit more going on, everything else is the same

Peach's Castle 64
Juicy Jungle

Tropical Freeze is one of the best platformers ever so having it represented via a stage would be cool

The stage is now set in the middle of a stage in Juicy Jungle with the platforms edited to fit the Donkey Kong Aesthetic. The moving platform has Juice dripping from it and the slants are icy.

Tower of the Wing Cap

Inspired by Project M's HD version of the stage, this reskin is a combination of the two Wing Cap centric levels from Super Mario 64 and its DS remake. The main platform will be the Tower itself, while the moving platform beneath it will be made of clouds. The bumper remains the same, although it sports a Power Star emblem now, and the triangles are modeled to resemble tower caps. The "Over the Rainbows" part of the stage is mainly regulated to background elements. The coin rings Mario flies through for a Power Star can be seen circling the stage, too! And yes, the Switch, ! Block, and Red Star spawn point are in the back of the platform!

I'll wait until a job is posted until I'll attend, looks interesting
These are the jobs that are currently open - we're changing the aesthetics of certain stages that resemble others too heavily, and creating a new multiplayer mode.

Poison Mushroom Mode (working title)
Inspired by Lethal League. You cannot directly attack the opponent, but there is a Poison Mushroom onstage, which has quite a bit of weight to it (much easier to aim and set up shots with than Ultimate's soccer ball. Attacking this causes it to fly in the knockback angle of that attack. It deals damage and knockback if it hits an opponent, the damage and knockback (as well as the launch speed/distance) of the Poison Muchroom relate to the strength of the attack it was hit with. Opponents can hit it back, and hitboxes trump hurtboxes in this mode-so if Mario hit the Poison Mushroom with his back-air, even though his bair has a hitbox on the legs, if the attack connects then Mario won't have to worry about that. Objective is still the same, hit your opponent until you can use a strong enough attack to take their stock, though now your means of doing so are just more limited. (You can still footstool them for the kill though if you want to be funny)
EDIT: Oh yeah, and if you hit it offstage it respawns closest to whoever didn't hit it offstage.

Multiplayer mode submissions are now closed! We will be adding 3, please vote for your top 3
My submission:
Coin mode

The mode returning from Melee-SSB4 games. It acts same, but the coins are mario-themed.
Submit tracklists for New Donk City Hall and/or Rainbow Cruise!

Song submissions have gotten a bit of an overhaul - now you must submit exactly 4 songs for a stage which will be voted on as a list. You can include songs other people have submitted in their tracklists so long as your songlist isn't an exact duplicate of someone else's.

Submit a replacement for a special move!
In this job we will be replacing a single special move from a veteran. Please note that winning will disqualify the fighter with a new special move from further functional changes - so if you give Wario a shoulder bash instead of a bike he'll still be the silly slapping waft man for example. Stance change moves will not be allowed. They can be merely cosmetic but that will still disqualify further functional changes. These will be voted on, with only one being added. Please try to consider the characters' playstyles within Smash and not just their source material or canon powers/personality.
