Yoshi stage: Storks' Sanctuary

Based on the intro for Yoshi's New Island, this stage is the expy for (hazards on) Smashville. You fight on a cloud structure in the night sky, with a giant cloud-stork statue in the background. You can faintly see Yoshi's Island on the surface of the earth, sending fireworks out to celebrate the Yoshies' latest victory

DK stage: Bramble Blast

This stage would have a main platform with a spiky underside; two platforms that are vertically stacked and move horizontally; and one barrel each on the left and right side of the stage you can jump into - the function like the Kongo Jungle 64 barrel, but blast horizontally instead of vertically and move vice versa

Item 1: Syrup's Lamp
75A355BF-2108-4D61-8EF5-3D76A8CAB665.gif

Throw the lamp and it will create a soft cloud platform when it lands. That platform will rise up slowly and eventually disintegrate.

Item 2: Cape Feather

Absorb the cape feather to gain a glide ability, similar to that used by Pit; Charizard; and Meta Knight in Brawl.

Item 3: 1-Up Shroom

Functions just as the S-Flag does, with a major change of it being able to move very fast when not picked up, and actively trying to avoid anyone who runs to pick it up.

Mystery Mushroom

Pick this up to temporarily transform into a different randomly selected character!

Carrot
1644283976476.png

Replacement for the Bunny Hood

Pal Pill
1644284031039.png

Pick this up to summon a group of three small 8-bit versions of your character (all sprites are directly ripped or custom based after an NES game, and they all follow NES color palette restrictions). These three "pals" will each take one hit for you, meaning you won't be damaged or launched from the attacks! Extra powerful attacks, such as most charged Smash attacks or any Final Smashes will still leak through and hit you, though.

Big Boo
We need something really friendship ruining so why not include the star stealing mechanic from Mario Party? This is a really rare item where a boo appears somewhere on the stage, and so do 50 coins in random places. If someone manages to get 30 coins, he will steal a stock or a point from another opponent. It won’t give it to you though, that would be way too annoying

DK Stage: Mine Cart Carnage

There’s a completely flat platform at the bottom that’s a rail track and two wooden platforms above it on the left and right. Occasionally a kremlin in a minecart will come and act as an obstacle

I feel this mechanic may be too complex to be an item, would you mind saving it for a later AT or stage submission? Alternatively you could create a new summoning item for this to be part of. Still a great idea though.

DK Stage: Angry Aztec

The Angry Aztec stage is the second stage in Donkey Kong 64. It is basically themed to ancient ruins. The characters fight mostly on platforms over quicksand. Characters who fall into the quicksand slowly sink in, and if fully submerged, lose a life. Occasionally, sandstorms will also occur, lowering visibility and moving characters backwards.

Yoshi stage: Woolly World

This stage is similar to the Yoshi stages in current smash games, except the textures are made of yarn. Balls of yarn constantly appear on screen and can be used as items.

Item 1: Ruin Powder

From Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Throwing it at opponents instantly makes them dizzy.

Item 2: Dice Block

From Mario Party. Rolling a certain number causes that exact number of items to appear.

Item 3: Spiny Shell

From Mario Kart. This will always attack the player in first place.

Both of these pieces of content are already in the game - however, the Woolly World stage would be accepted as a submission if it were changed to a different location from the game not featured in the Smash for Wii U stage.

Sorry about that

New Yoshi Stage: Shy Guy Galleon

A pirate ship run by Pirate Shy Guys. Similar to the Wind Waker Pirate ship, though notably larger in size. Also, the Shy Guys throw Bob-ombs and cannonballs at fighters.

New Item #3: Golden Dash Mushroom

From the Mario Kart games, essentially the Bunny Hood of the game.

Item #1: Weird Mushroom
SMM-SMB-WeirdMushroom.png

Similar to how it acts in Mario Maker. When someone touches it, they become skinny and have their jump height increased, their weight decreased become and floatier. Along with their jump sound effect sounding funkier. Normal mushrooms have a 1% chance to have their effect.

Item #2: The Maker's Stylus
(Looks like a glowing Wii U stylus)

Another Mario Maker Item. Can be picked up. When used, something randomly spawns in front of the fighter. These things can be:
  • 3-5 brick blocks at about the height of the Small Battlefield platforms.
  • 1-3 spike blocks at a random height.
  • A semisolid with a random width and height
  • 1-2 pipes at random heights
  • A question block with a brick on both of it's sides. Spawns a random item when hit.
Each of these last about 30 seconds. Using it also has a lot of endlag. Maximum of 3 uses.

Item #3: Goomba Shoe
SMB3_Small_Mario_in_Goomba's_Shoe.png

When someone jumps into this, they gain the power of the shoe! You can't attack while riding it, but jumping on grounded foes (or crushing them in general) deals damage. You are knocked out of the shoe if you get hit.

Yoshi Stage

Crafted World

This stage takes place on top of the train from Sunshine station and travels through many of the stages seen in Yoshi's crafted world, the platforms function like Spirit Tracks

Item 1

Statue Leaf

This gives your character a handkerchief and replaces your Down Air with a stall and fall powerful statue slam

Item 2

Blast Cannon

This spawns in and interacting with it enters an aiming mode and you can fire cannonballs from it.

Item 3

Banana Juice

This is a healing item that completely restores your health, but only when you are over 100 damage.

Ally Phone

This is from Super Mario Party, in this game it would be an assist summoning item
Is the Ally Phone intended as a replacement for the Assist Trophy, or would it have its own unique summons? If the prior I may be willing to add it instantly without a vote given that it's a more thematically fitting equivalent to an item I already wanted to include in some form.

The intent was to be this games version of the Assist trophy.

Job 5:
Baby Bowser's castle

(Credit and shout-out to Pupp135 Pupp135 )

I'll submit Baby Bowser's Castle. This submission is based on the Yoshi stage from another SmashBoards Creates thread.
It's a recreation of the final battle of the first Yoshi's Island game, taking place on the ruins of the destroyed castle. Baby Bowser lurks in the background and occasionally shoots fireballs. Giant rocks will sometimes fall and briefly wipe out platforms.
Item submission:
Cappy (Super Mario Odyssey)

Cappy is Mario's sidekick and he appeared only in SMO. He is a ghostly-looking bonneter, whose sister Tiara was kidnapped by Bowser and used for Princess Peach's wedding outfit.
He has an ability to possess hats that can possess other people like Enemies for example.

When spawned, he possesses you and by that, you can possess others for 4.5 seconds. If it's used already, then he dissappears in thin air.

Item submissions are closed!

Vote for your top 3:
  1. Cappy
  2. Blast Cannon
  3. Banana Juice
  4. Statue Leaf
  5. Goomba Shoe
  6. Maker's Stylus
  7. Weird Mushroom
  8. Dice Block
  9. Golden Dash Mushroom
  10. Ruin Powder
  11. Pal Pill
  12. Carrot
  13. Mystery Mushroom
  14. 1up Mushroom
  15. Cape Feather
  16. Syrup's Lamp

The top 3 most voted will be added, unless there is functional overlap between members of the top 3 (for example, the carrot and golden dash mushroom), in which case the more popular of the two overlapping items will be chosen while 4th place will take the place of the similar item. You can only vote for one of your own

Job 8: Submit a way for music to work in this game
Ultimate's My Music system wouldn't exactly work when dealing with only 4 or 5 series, so that's why I want propositions for how music should function in this game - specifically, how songs are divided between stages (if at all) and how their play likeliness can be customised (yet again, if at all)

3. Syrup's Lamp

My submission: four songs per stage
Each stage would have exactly 4 songs assigned to it, each one selectable with a shoulder button. This would give each stage its own unique vibe and ensure there aren't any songs just added for the sake of having them despite not having a fitting stage, but also keep the creativity and deep cut selections My Music allowed.

Job 9: Submit a moveset for Daisy

We have voted to rework Daisy into a fully unique fighter and as such moveset submissions are now open. Please include all 4 special moves - other moves would be prefered. Do not include animations or a Final Smash, as they will be handled later. Make sure to include absolutely no shared attacks or moves with Peach or Rosalina - attacks from other, non-Mario, smash fighters like Zelda should be fine.

Please specify whether Daisy would wear her royal gown or a sports outfit in your moveset. When we get around to alternate costumes you will not be able to submit a gown for a sports outfit Daisy or a sports outfit for a gown Daisy (just as Peach and Rosalina won't have sports outfits as options due to hitboxes)

How long will this job be open? Gathering all my ideas for a Daisy set might take a good day so if this closes in 12 hours I gotta put some pep in my step post-Direct

Daisy will appear in her Super Mario Strikers / Mario Smash Football outfit by default. Other sports outfits may be added later as alts.
1644443176538.png

Daisy will dribble a soccer ball at her feet during gameplay. She uses it for certain attacks, some of which temporarily send it away from her. Without the ball, Daisy is a little faster and can jump higher. If the ball goes offscreen, Daisy has to wait for 5 seconds before it respawns in her possession.

Standard Special: Superball
Daisy throws a Superball that bounces off of any surface, including the undersides of semi-solid platforms.

Side Special: Striker Shot
Daisy kicks her soccer ball, turning it into a projectile. Holding the button lets Daisy charge her kick for a stronger shot. In the air, charging a kick slows her fall. Just like the soccer ball item, this ball can be attacked and launched by any character but cannot be picked up. While anyone can launch it, Daisy's attacks cause the ball to deal more damage than normal. Daisy gets the ball back and starts dribbling it again if she touches it when it doesn't have a hitbox, or if she "catches" it in midair by air dodging it.

Up Special: Super Shot
Daisy punts the ball straight up into the air before rocketing up to reach it. She then charges up before kicking the ball with intense force. During the charge, you can aim where the ball will go. This is stronger than her side special, but it is telegraphed and easier to avoid. However, Daisy can cancel the kick to fake opponents out, which is done in the same way Wii Fit Trainer could fake out her Header. This still causes Daisy to lose her ball, though. If Daisy doesn't have the ball when she uses this move, she still boosts into the air, but immediately enters freefall at the peak of the jump.

Down Special: Flower Patch
Daisy slams her fist into the ground, causing a small patch of flowers to spring from the ground. One large flower that functions as a platform appears directly beneath Daisy as well. This can be used to help bounce her Superball.

I don't have all the standards yet, but she'll have a lot of kicks. One interesting move I do know is her forward aerial, which will be her crystal fist punch from Strikers Charged. This is a meteor smash.

Job 9

Daisy would be in her princess getup

Jab: 3 punches

F-tilt: A roundhouse kick

D-tilt: A Swing with a golf club

U-tilt: An upwards swing with a tennis racket

Side Smash: Daisy takes out a baseball bat and swings with great force

Down Smash: Daisy Punches the ground and 2 Crystals appear on both sides of her

Up Smash: Daisy jumps in the air and punches

N-air: Daisy somersaults

F-air: Daisy swings downwards with a tennis racket

D-air: Daisy drops a powerful dice block

B-air: A backwards kick with a sweet spots

U-air: An upwards swing with a Tennis racket

Neutral Special: Super Strike, A Ball from Mario Strikers appears next to Daisy's Feet and she Brings her right leg back and kicks the ball with full force, the Ball deals a lot of damage. The Longer you hold the attack the more damage it does.

Side Special: Superball Volley, This attack is very similar to Wii Fit's side special but the projectile that is hit is the Super Ball from Super Mario Land and the ball is heavier and has the same property as in Mario Land.

Up Special: Torpedo Uppercut, Daisy dons a pair of Boxing Gloves and performs a powerful rising uppercut

Down Special: Flowerbed, A bed of flowers crawls forward on the ground, this functions a bit like shadow step, When you let go the bed of flowers erupts dealing damage. In air a platform is created instead.
