Roy Echo 1 Alear

New cinematic final smash with all 12 Emblems.

Roy Echo 2 Lyn

Quicker than Roy with a Bow attack down special

Roy Stage Somniel

Similar format to Garreg Mach. Stage will transition between Plaza, Grotto, Ring Chamber, & Alears room with lots of cameos by Engage characters.

Songs
Dont Speak Her Name (Awakening)
Dusk Falls (Fates)
Omen (Echoes)
Arena (Engage)
Will resubmit the above for Roy instead of Marth.

Roy

Sakura Shinguji

A faster Roy with no sweet or sour spots, Her sword is also held in a more traditional manner

All Fire and effects are Sakura/Flower/Pink themed
Neutral B is now a Projectile called "Ouka Hoshin" It is essentially a pink version of Power Wave
Up B is now pink and is called Rising Sakura
Side B is called "Hyakka Ryoryan" It functions very similarly to Roy's side-b but with only 1 variation and that variation that reflects
Down B is Makiwara Giri, Much like Roy's regular counter only there is a straw mat behind the target that get's slashed in the counter, and that mat produces shards that damage opponents.
Final Smash has Sakura enter her mech and sends out a giant Ouka Hoshin

Roy 2

Yu Narukami

Roy but with a traditional grip and lightning powers instead of fire.

Yu does gain a variation of Joker's Arsene Mechanic with Izanagi, but all it does is infuse his attacks with electricity dealing slightly more damage.

Neutral Special is now Zio, Yu charges up a bolt of lightning that strikes the ground in front of him
Side Special is now cleave, a more powerful but slower Roy side special
Up special is the same but with lightning same with Down Special.
Final Smash is now All-out attack which is just a clone of Joker's but with Persona 4 graphics instead.
Chrom Stage:
Midnight Channel

the layout is a larger boxing ring without the walkoff at the edges

the cast from persona 4 can also be seen in the background
-Backside Of The TV
-Pursuing My True Self
-The Almighty
-A New World Fool

Roy Stage:
The Grand Imperial Theater (Sakura Wars)

This would be a simple walkoff stage with many cameos of Sakura Wars characters on the steps of the theater.
Declaration! Imperial Assault Force
Under The Imperial Flag
Warriors Of The Earth
Miracle Bell

Which fighters would these stages be for: Roy or Chrom?

Roy Stage

Dragons Gate
Takes place inside the temple like building in front of the Gate. Is a fairly simple stage taking place in a room with some rock platforms, but every now and then the gate will glow and activate and a dragon will appear through it, breathing fire onto the stage.
Tracks -
Dragon's Gate II
Rise to the Challenge
Blessing of the Eight Generals II
Companions

Chrom Stage

No More Heroes Motel
Players fight outside the motel, and the layout is pretty much exactly how it looks above. Various characters from all three (or four) NMH heroes games cameo.
Tracks -

It's Kill or Be Killed ~ Destroy Resort

G&W echo: Yuka

Less of a glass cannon compared to G&W, giving her better defense but worse power. We could possibly include other human characters from Rhythm Heaven as alts. Like G&W, she's cel shaded and flat, but her animations are a tiny bit less choppy.

Jab: Karate Man punching, reflects projectiles
Forward tilt - A Cheer Readers book
Up Tilt - Tapping on a tambourine twice, once on each side
Down tilt - Summoning monkeys to tap, her own foot is the sweet spot.
Dash - Left intact, no helmet nor reference
Forward Smash - Samurai Slice sword
Up Smash - uses a Marching Orders helmet
Down Smash - Cuts a log like Lumbearjack
Neutral air - Holds a Hair Vegetable, with hair coming off in place of the fish
Forward air - Drops an intruder from Shoot Em Up
Back Air - Holds a Moai Kid
Down Air - Grabs a fork from Fork Lifter
Up Air - Glee Club screaming, still has a windbox
Down Special - Packing Pests. Can catch all projectiles - except for living beings like Pikmin or Mr. Saturn - and turn them into spiders instead of oil
Up Special - Working Dough trampoline, Mister Eagle from Dog Ninja as a parachute
Side Special - Quiz Show. Numbers go from 1 to 10, and rather than having unique effects just hit the foe that amount of times, dealing 5 damage per hit
Neutral Special - Kicks a ball like in Double Date
Final Smash - Stretches to the height of the Tap Troupe as the camera zooms out, then does a powerful Tap-Tap-Tap

G&W stage: My Desktop
My Desktop (Windows)

Based on Windows XP specifically

This stage is quite large, not the size of say, Temple (let alone New Pork or TGCO), but still above the average size. You fight within 4 windows in a 2-by-2 grid. (with the bars at the top of said windows being colour coded like the classic Windows/current Microsoft logo!) Those windows show different Microsoft applications and thus have different platform layouts. The big gimmick of this stage is that windows can open and close... which also closes up the blast zones! (and reveals the Bliss wallpaper in the background, but that isn't as important) The stage becomes very cramped when only one window is open. When windows re-open they will always have a new application on it.

There are 10 possible apps:

  1. Word - The words "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" are in 3 lines and can be used as 3 soft platforms
  2. Media Player - A swirling visualisation will show, with 4 soft platforms moving in a windmill platform.
  3. Paint - a Final Destination hard platform is there, and 3 soft platforms will gradually be drawn to make a Battlefield layout
  4. Minesweeper - A destructable cube you can dig into is in the middle of this window. Mines will only appear once all the cubes have been demolished, and promptly explode, sending everyone flying and instantly closing the window once everyone is knocked back.
  5. Powerpoint - Two soft platforms here, "Click to add title" and "Click to add subtitle"
  6. Reversi - A game of classic 3.1 Reversi is played, with every disk being part of a hard platform. Once the game is won and all fighters are off the window the board will disappear
  7. Internet Explorer - Internet Explorer is running MSN Videos, which plays snippets of footage from various DOS, Windows and Xbox adverts at 180p. The video box is a big, cube-shaped, solid platform
  8. MSN Messenger - A conversation between Clippit and The Dot goes on, with each post being possible to use as a platform as they gradually inch up.
  9. Solitaire - The Solitaire cards bounce around slowly - though they don't duplicate themselves - and can be used as moving platforms.[/TD]
  10. Purble Place - Fight atop 4 conveyer belts in the cake factory, two are on the bottom and intertwined, the other two are not and float above it. The conveyer belts roll into each other.

The Omega form features multiple backgrounds from many different Windows versions as opposed to just Bliss in the regular form, switching through every 30 seconds like the wallpaper slideshow function introduced in Vista, making for a varied but undistracting battleground. A cursor will go around in the background, but not click on anything.

resubbing Trojan Swordsman for Roy.

Representing Sega's Total War series, the Trojan Swordsman would give Smash that gritty western energy it's been missing for a long while. He doesn't have a tipper. His down special isn't a counter, but instead a projectile reflector with his shield. His sword is shorter, but he's also more powerful. His up special is taken from Roy.

second Roy echo: Aegislash

Due to a lack of disjoints, Aegislash is more a bruiser than a precision fighter. Transforms into shielded form for the counter. He does enter the Z-axis a bit for temporary invulnerability in attacks, but all Z-axis dodges are shorter in frames than Roy's. Up Special is Chrom's.

Abstain on Roy and Chrom stages, I feel FE should have some more stages instead of misc. stuff like Marble Zone given how little it has in base game (I will probably be submitting the Opera House for Corrin though, and I have a misc stage planned for Robin.)

Spirits:
MissingNo
Legend

Opponent: White Mr. Game & Watch
Stage: Tortimer Island
Song: Red/Blue Medley (AKA Poke Floats theme)
Rules: You will gain a mushroom on your head, Poke Balls containing Ditto will spawn often

Trophy
Legend

Stage: Gamer (Hazards Off)
Song: Trophy Gallery
Opponent: Gold armour Roy x 30
Rules: Each foe begins passive; but will become hostile at high damage, stamina; time will slow down.

Vergil
A speessy swordsman who would pull a little from all the Marth-likes. His moves would take on the effects and sounds from DMC.
okay i really like the current g&w submissions but i've spent the last two weeks mulling my submission over so to hell with it

Mr. G&W Echo: Sega Pat

(He'd have normal hands for most of his attacks.)
  • Sega Pat is taller and heavier than Mr. Game & Watch, but is also a little slower.
  • Sega Pat would turn into silouhettes of various Sega Genesis characters for some attacks, but they'd all retain Pat's usual blocky aesthetic. Most of them would line up with Mr. G&W's hitboxes, though.
  • I won't list every single move Sega Pat has since there'd just be way too many, but I'll list his specials.
    • Neutral Special: Mechanically the same, but he throws out the gems from Columns instead of food.
    • Side Special: The same, but Sega Pat morphs his hand into a TV to use it as a hammer, also displaying the number being used.
    • Up Special: Sega Pat takes the form of Ecco the Dolphin, leaping upwards. While the initial jump takes Sega Pat much higher than G&W's trampoline, he also doesn't get a parachute.
    • Down Special: Sega Pat charges up his controller arm with enemy projectiles, throwing a powerful punch with it once he's full rather than spilling out oil.
    • Final Smash: Sega Pat morphs into a Sega Genesis with many controllers popping out, racing forward to ensnare opponents and drag them to the blast zone.
Mr. G&W Stage: Sega Channel

The stage is a walkoff, with the Genesis serving as a soft platform. However, there is an addition to this screen - A large TV! Every so often, the off-screen player will select a new Sega Channel game to play, giving the TV a new look with platforms that players can interact with.

I might as well go ahead and resubmit Wither Skeleton as a Roy echo, alongside The Nether as its stage.

Stage: The Nether

The stage takes place on a large Nether Fortress, providing a good analogue to Hyrule Temple. However, background Ghasts will occasionally fire into the foreground, temporarily destroying some bridges like on Bridge of Eldin.
Chrom stage: Dragon's Table

A competitive legal stage, basically WarioWare hazoff with better blast zones.
  1. Mastermind
  2. Last Engage
  3. Twilight of the Gods
  4. Area 5 Meeting (Famicom)
Roy stage: Elemental Lighthouse

From Golden Sun - all 4 lighthouses appear as selectable forms like Minecraft World. Pictured here is the Venus lighthouse
Yellow: a hole for spiking foes into, covered up from view. The stage does not split or anything to that extent.

G&W 4th special: Rain Shower

Based loosely on a move from the Fraymakers G&W mod, he pulls foes towards him using a clothes line. This move has a major disjoint, but is not a projectile! Use it to trick reflector-happy foes.

G&W AT:

Mr. G&W perches atop a soft platform with his hammers, moving from platform to platform instantly and slamming down on any foe unluckly enough to walk beneath him.

Pit echo 1: Classic Pit

Significantly smaller. His side special has him swing a hammer, and his down special uses the physical mirror shield he used in Brawl - distinguished from the Guardian Orbitars by boosting the power of reflected projectiles much higher at the expense of only covering one side. He uses his Final Smash from 3DS/Wii U

Grit Pit

From Factor 5's cancelled Kid Icarus pitch, this Pit has more edge than even Dark Pit, juxtaposed against a very funny rhyming name. All his weapons are a lot more serious-looking. He uses the Final Smash from Brawl

Pit stage: Inside Palutena's Temple

A competitive legal stage, basically Smashville with an extra platform above that goes the opposite direction

Songs:
  1. Dark Pit
  2. The First Town
  3. Solo Menu (New Remix)
  4. Kid Icarus (WarioWare DIY)

Meta Knight: Sunset Shore

A bit loose in connection, but I think the shadowy look fits a Zorro-style masked swordsman. The layout is essentially a very long Battlefield with an upwards slope in the middle - it's size makes it competitive-illegal, as well as the silhouette gimmick - each fighter has one area that is illuminated - it could be Meta Knight's mask, Pit's wings, Yuka's dress, Plusle and Minun's tails, so on. When in front of the sun, a character's full colours can be faintly seen. There are palm trees next to the blast zones that cover up the battle.

Songs:

  1. Sunset Shore
  2. Fear Factory (Jazz Remix)
  3. Cascade Capers GBA
  4. Shimmering Sea

Spirits:
Parabones
Novice

Stage: Mushroom Kingdom U (Fortress)
Song: Big Boss (Yoshi's Island DS)
Opponent: silver alt Meta Knight x 7
Rules: Foes prefer to jump, but will be grounded at high damage, the last 3 spawned foes will have Ray Guns.

Opponents: Valor Sora (red Lucas if DLC not purchased), Dalmatian Duck Hunt, Pyra colour Mythra (pink TP Zelda if DLC not purchased), Simon (blue), Pit (blonde), Mega Man (green)
Song: Kid Icarus Retro Medley
Rules: Fight Pit, Simon, and Mega Man first; then Sora, DH, and Mytrha. Time will slow down. Sora has a ray gun, Simon likes to taunt.
Stage: Skyworld

Dark Pit stage: Westopolis

With this one I'm really just playing into the whole "edgy" meme, lmao. All my planned Sonic stages are from the 90s, so here's some (backhanded) love for the 00s games created on a whim.
westopolis.png

The blue is a spring - for most fighters, the spring is the only way to go up the wall due to it's height. To the left is a collapsed building (yellow) that serves as a ceiling. This building will show up halfway through the battle. Destruction will slowly dent the ground, with the areas that can be dented represented in orange - the denting is very slow, so it's not a good idea to willingly make it happen. The "creatures" from the game will appear in the background, but don't interact. The red soft platform moves, with movement being represented by the purple arrow
  1. All Hail Shadow
  2. I Am... All of Me
  3. Vandalize (Radio Edit)
  4. Final Boss (US) (Sonic CD)

Pit Stage: Rainbow Road

I mean, Rainbow Road is kind of a "sky world"... Anyway, this one's just a port of the 3DS stage.

(i actually quite like westopolis as a dark pit stage specifically - fits with dark pit's edge and dark pit/shadow's statuses as a "dark" counterpart to their protagonists)
Rainbow Road from Double Dash is already a song in Ultimate. Great submission though!

Pit Echo

Fighter

Fighters are the characters you play as in Kid Icarus Uprising's Multiplayer mode

They would function exactly like pit but are slower and slightly weaker than pit and cannot fly
Their Up Special is now a Rocket Jump with the EZ Cannon
Side Special uses the Bomber Arm, which is stronger than upperdash but slower and leaves fire in it's wake
Down Special is now the Centurion Orbitars which will shoot a low damage projectile while active, but are not as useful as a shield
Neutral Special is now the Fortune Bow which is not as powerful but it has much fasters shots
Final Smash is now Meteor Shower which is a clone of Lucas' Final Smash

The stage scrolls upwards. It's layed out pretty much like it was in the original game. There will be enimies to avoid.
1. Sky World Tower (Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters)
2. Fortress (Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters)
3. Underworld Tower (Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters)
4. Vs. Ocros (Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters)

Galacta Knight
I don't know a lot about Kirby but I always liked this guys design. He has Brawl Meta Knight's Tornado and a new beam attack. He can also use his shield for some moves.

All 3 back special: Glide

Playing with fire here, but the glide has a limit and no attack function.

Meta Knight AT: Throws a replica of his Galaxia onto the ring (basically a clone of the beam sword that's more powerful but doesn't extend) and fights as he does in his KA battle - only the foe with the Galaxia can attack him, though when he's on his last hit point he'll be stunned and anyone can attack him to snipe the point. If the item isn't picked up or is thrown away, he will retreat out of respect, granting no points. His summoner cannot pick up the sword.

Stage: Battlefield Mine Cart Madness
Song: Wild Pokemon (Diamond/Pearl)
Opponent: tiny Meta Knight x 15
Rules: The stage will be covered in fog, stamina, foes have very low stamina.

Pit AT
Pit jumps around the stage, using his bow to fire off Arrows of Light and slash at nearby opponents. He can be KO'd.

Dark Pit AT
Similar to Pit, but much more aggressive. He also uses the Dark Pit Staff to shoot rather than Arrows of Light. The staff shots are much stronger, but Pittoo doesn't fire them as often, preferring to use his bow slices.

Meta Knight AT
When summoned, Meta Knight... disappears? A few moments later, he reappears behind an opponent, attempting to use his Brawl Final Smash on them, dealing powerful damage and knockback. Whether he succeeds or fails, he then teleports away, having a rare chance to leave a Beam Sword behind.
