Dixie Kong: Kiddy Kong
1630170892856.png

When Kiddy Kong is out, he has two functions depending on what Dixie is doing:

When Dixie is not actively using Kiddy (I.E. throwing him), Kiddy Kong can increase the height of her jumps caused from jump ramps, gliding ramps, and tricks, allowing her to overtake racers much easier. This depletes usage, which in turn reduces the amount of time on the next function.

When pressing the item button, Dixie Kong can throw Kiddy and cause him to roll along the ground, bouncing off obstacles, hurting other racers, etc. At most, Kiddy lasts for about as long as a Green Shell toss, but jumping in any way (Reference the above) depletes usage and makes Kiddy Kong roll for a shorter time.

Tangerine Grill

This has the racers become mini sized as they race though a Noki ran tropical restaurant. Due to it's longer length this course is two laps long instead of the usual three.

First you go down a semi straight corridor in the dining hall. Noki waiters tower above you and there steps act as a constant obstacle. Then you go up a table via a zero gravity section and encounter a plate of sliced grilled fish being eaten by a giant yoshi, avoid the reticle of his toung so you wont get gobbled up by his one hit kill toung.

You then take a Glider section to the kitchen, at first you take a sharp turn around a haywire blender dropping smoothie stuff on the floor, then you enter an underwater section inside a giant sink as the drain is sucking you down via gravitational pull. Then a straight area as Nokis with knifes chip some lemons, then you go up a long cuttingbourd ramp and avoid dropping tomatoes and lemons like boulders.

Finally you head outdoors to the grill. You enter a frying pan with peices of butter sliding around that damage you and make your controls more slippery, then a second frying pan that periodically gets flipped with flaming steaks acting as obstacles, finally a giant rotisserie will act as a rolling platform over hot coals for the final stretch of the course. (On lap 2 lemons will be added to the rotisserie to make it a little tougher.

Sakana Masturi (English title “Fishy Festival”)
This track would have unique titles for the Japanese and English versions. The course progresses along a from a fishing fleet to the beach and into a fishing town before descending into a river basin which ends in a lake before circling about to the beach and back down to fleet. The stage has a very Japanese aesthetic surrounding the local fishing customs of the nation. As racer pass by, Koopa Troopa and Shy Guys wearing rice paddy hats and japanese tradition clothing can be seen catching and reeling up fish such as Ayu, Masu, and other fish; especially marine kinds. The marine and freshwater sections have an unique feeling with a more quaint and peaceful feeling during the river and lake sections which shows the peaceful nature fisherman have in Japan. They utilized non-reel fly fishing poles which require strength and dexterity to land the fish. Meanwhile, the marine section is more…rambunctious with waves crashing about and Charging Chucks pounding on taiko drums as the others bring in nets of fish. Even the weather is more violent and aggressive with darkening clouds and pelting rain. The fishing village is more quieter by comparison but looks as if the very wood is waterlogged and stained with the salt water. Fish can be seen flying into baskets as racers pass by but running over one of the fish that misses a basket can cause the players to spin out. There are numerous ramps in the stage with one being the descent into the river way from the fishing village and the waterfall that empties into the lake. There is a underwater portion from the fishing fleet to the beach and the fishing village to the fleet which then resets. For inspiration, I drew from this Pokken stage but also my memories of fishing in Japan; one of which was a festival I participated in where people where literally catching fish using non-reel fly fishing and yanking the fish out of the water and into waiting baskets which helpers would carry.

Job 57:

Vegetable Forest.
Layout of the track is shaped like Tomato and it takes place in Forest with vegetables instead of trees and bushes. The Hazards are rolling Potatoes with pushing goombas that come unexpectedly from the Vegetable Woods. In the Background, we can see Mt. Volcano and other mountains from Luncheon Kingdom (Since it takes place near the Luncheon Kingdom).
Also on sitting auditions, we see Residents from Luncheon Kingdom.

Like it but what does that have to do with food, as the job is a course focusing on food and food based locations like restaurants, still a good idea

Fish are food and the act of catching them are often for food. I didn’t see anything about it having to be restaurants in your own prompt submission nor the one that cash posted for this job. That feels more like a projection based on your own viewpoint of the submission prompt. All the prompt said was “based a track on or around food”. Contrary to what Bruce says, fish is food.

Sakura Circuit:
A three-segment track based on a big seasonal event in Japan, the Hanami (Cherry Blossom Viewing) Festival that welcomes the coming spring.

1630444134959.png

On the first half of the track, you'll drive through a stylized lane of food stands that serve bentos, some bottles of...rice juice...and most importantly, dango! Some dango are either on a plate on display, and used as ramps to do stunts on, others are thrown about as a Chain Chomp-style hazard! During this part of the race, the item boxes are replaced with Item Bento, which is just a visual difference and nothing more. There are also trap triggers for racers to take advantage of: if you run past stands with large bottles, you'll tip them over and anyone that drives through the waterfall of rice juice will have their steering and acceleration randomized to different values! This portion of the track itself is rather straight, and curves only slightly, but with the added obstacles, you'll find that this is a serviceable portion of the track.

2. Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival (Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture)

For the second half of the whole track, you'll drive down a pathway through a lush, BEAUTIFUL forest of blooming sakura trees, with various members of the Mushroom and Koopa Kingdoms kicking back and relaxing as they watch the race in motion, as well as viewing the cherry blossoms, too! The track has a majority of the same obstacles as the above, but the difference is, you'll drive up a mountain for the final lap and stop at the summit, where fields of pink can be seen in view. PLUS! Unlike in other tracks where their either celebrating their victory or wallowing in their defeat, the racers will actually leave their karts and gather to enjoy the festival themselves! Hey, silver lining for the losers, right? The interactions can vary from Mario politely snacking on dango, to Bowser chugging a bottle of rice juice in celebration, to Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong sharing a nice tropical Banana Bento! This half of the track is more sporadic: it has lots more curves and sharp turns, and has a sense of verticality as you drive up the mountain in either straight dashes or spirals.

You have a point, I was just confused because the track didn't have an immediate food theme, that's on me though.

I'm returning this, its similar structure wise but instead of avoid the lake you now should enter the lake to get some handy shortcuts

Job 58: Koopa Beach 1

With some changes.
-The course overall is upscaled to make it longer, and the shallow waters are now deep enough to submerge drivers.
-The water level slowly raises every lap until most of the ground has been engulfed by water except for the starting line.
-Decorative elements like palm trees and enemies on boats are sprinkled throughout the course.

Bowser's Castle

The visuals of this track are updated to take place in a large lava pool in front of an audience of Koopa Troops, in an arena-like fashion.
