Smash Ultimate's Classic Mode - What predetermined set of characters would you choose for your favorites?

With the classic mode being predetermined for each character. What would you guys like your favorite character's set to be? There seems to be six spots for character battles and then whatever is the fighting team of this game and then Master Hand (And Crazy Hand in higher difficulties. Don't know about Master Core though)

I'll give an example with .

In no particular order:
- Self-Explanatory
- Fastest characters
- Cocky, blue animals
- Worlds Collide
- 90s Icons
- Sega Owned characters

This is just going by currently confirmed characters though if Tails or Shadow is an echo fighter they'd replace Bayonetta on my list

Diddy Classic Mode

- Friendly rivalry (explains the DKC vs Yoshi's Island "rivalry" of how Miyamoto wanted to challenge DKC's succes with Yoshi's Island- also, Yoshi was 3rd place in Cranky's Video Game Rankings in DKC2)
- Young Heroes Clash (Link was 2nd place in Cranky's Video Game Rankings and both Diddy and Young Link are young but very ambitious heroes with their own games)
- Player 2 Clashes (Mario is actually the 1st place in Cranky's Video Game Rankings but Luigi replaces him here to "test" Diddy's willingness to overshine the most famous 'Player 2')
- VS The Hero (Very obvious if you've been reading the rest)
- VS The Big Bad King K.Rool (it's obvious he has to appear somewhere)
- VS Your Idol (The last "test", overcoming your absolute idol in a major test of strenght against the one you inspire to be like)

I would be cool if you would battle a Rival Character before you face Master Hand and some Cutscene would play à la Street Fighter IV. But i think I'm dreaming too much again.

Robin Classic Mode:ultrobin

Stage #1: VS , Stage: Ω Umbra Clock Tower, Music: Chaos (Ablaze) - A reference to Fire Emblem Awakening's Invisible Ties (Premonition) chapter, where a possessed Robin fatally stabs Chrom. Umbra Clock Tower is supposed to represent The Dragon's Table in Plegia, where the chapter takes place.

Stage #2: VS , Ally: - Stage: Ω Arena Ferox, Music: Rival - A reference to Chapter 4: Two Falchions of Fire Emblem Awakening, where Robin and Chrom take on West Khan Basilio's champion, "Marth", in Arena Ferox. If Lucina gets a Masked Marth alt, this will work especially well.

Stage #3: VS - Stage: Ω Castle Siege, Music: Champion (Ablaze) - Although not a part of the main storyline of Fire Emblem Awakening, this is a reference to Paralogue 23: The Radiant Hero, where the Shepherds takes on Ike's descendant, Priam, and his army, in a fight.

Stage #4: VS (Black Palette Swap) - Stage: Ω Umbra Clock Tower, Music: Chaos (Ablaze) - A reference to Chapter 22: An Ill Presage of Fire Emblem Awakening, where right before entering The Dragon's Table, the Shepherds take on an army of Deadlords, led by Aversa herself, Validar's protege and "sister" to Robin. The black palette swap of Zelda is supposed to represent Aversa, and Umbra Clock Tower is supposed to represent The Dragon's Table.

Stage #5: VS (Purple Palette Swap) , Ally: - Stage: Ω Umbra Clock Tower, Music: Monstrosity - A reference to Chapter 23: Invisible Ties where Chrom and Robin fight Validar, Robin's father, in The Dragon's Table. The purple palette swap of Ganondorf is supposed to represent Validar, and Umbra Clock Tower is supposed to represent The Dragon's Table.
Stage #6: VS (Giant) (Meta Ridley Palette Swap)and (Dark):ultrobin, Allies: , - Stage: Final Destination, Music: Id Purpose - A reference to Fire Emblem Awakening's Chapter 26: Grima where the Shepherds fight Lucina's future Grima-controlled Robin on top of present Grima's back. Ridley represents Grima, similar to how they used a purple Charizard back in Smash 4's event. The Grima-controlled Robin you would have to fight would be a Dark/Shadow Robin, similar to Dark Link in Event 18 in Melee and Brawl.

Samus Classic Mode :

Stage #1: VS. at Shadow Moses Island - Both uses a lot of weapons and you could imagine that she got into this facility to find her equipment that was stole after her spaceship crashes.

Stage #2: VS. + , Allie: at Lylat Cruise - Both Sci-Fi franchises shares space travels.

Stage #3: VS. x15 at Wily's Castle - They both shares similar designs though one is a robot and the other is a girl in a organic super-armor.

Stage #4: VS. (Giant) at Brinstar (Melee) - Futuristic-themed battle at a Metroid stage since ROB doesn't have a home stage.

Stage #5: VS.x2 (Metal) at Brinstar Depths - A reference to Melee's Event Match but also to have a deeper look into Brinstar.

Stage #6: VS. at Frigate Orpheon - Battle against her alter-ego.

Bonus Stage: Break the Targets! / Boards the Platforms! - Depending what mini-games are in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Final Stage: VS. (150HP) at Norfair-Omega and once defeated, the stage morphs as Final Destination and you fight against (Giant, 150HP) in his Meta Ridley costume in reference to the Metroid saga.

General theme: since it took so long for Ridley to get in Smash and all, I thought it'd be cool to a "Road to Evil" idea where you would battle against iconic villains and climb your way to be Nintendo/Smash's most evil villain instead of something of a Ridley vs Samus thing. Here it goes

Stage #1: The Prime Villain
vs : DK is the original villain of Nintendo, so it only makes sense to put him in the first match. Stage: Kongo Falls

Stage #2: Villainous Debuts
vs (K. Rool): The two newcomer villains (so far obvs), also the two highest requested characters. Stage: Pirate Ship (with Gangplank Galleon as the music)

Stage #3: King Of Evil vs God Of Death
vs x10: The Zelda villain, plus both have similar titles (King Of Evil for Ganondorf and Cunning God Of Death for Ridley). Stage: Gerudo Valley

Stage #4: Space Demons
vs (Metal): The two villains that hail from space! His metallic appearance can be seen as a nod to Meta Ridley. Stage: Lylat Cruise

Stage #5: Royal Icons of Evil
vs : The quintessential villains of Nintendo! Stage: Battlefield (with the new SMB3 Bowser Remix)

Stage #6: Darkness Echoes
vs (Dark Samus) (Stamina): Since you've gone through all other villains, it's time to know once and for all which is the greatest villain from the Metroid Universe! Stage: Frigate Orpheon (I imagine Master Hand would be the true final boss. If it isn't, then this is the last match so naturally it'd be in Final Destination instead)

vs. Big eaters: The two original big eaters of Smash 64 face off; it's eat or be eaten!
vs. Tongue Tied: The two longest tongues in Smash face off!
vs. Yoshi Eater: Snake was curious how Yoshi tasted. Funnily enough Yoshi was wondering how Snake tasted too. EAT OR BE EATEN!
vs. Sunshine inkfest: Yoshi's helping clean up Isle Delfino...time to get rid of the paint at it's very source!
vs. You betrayed me!: Mario's kicked Yoshi down numerous pits in his career. Time to do the same to him.
vs. GIANT Baby Bowser? No wait...: It's not Yoshi's arch nemesis, but rather his son? Looks nearly identical and he's even HUGE! Finish off the chip off the old block.

- The theme would be based around dirty work and bounty hunting. Whatever pays.

2) Hands Off My Prey - FFA - Player vs. vs. vs. on Halberd

Another idea I had:

(Dark Samus): The concept would be battling all the alternate universe forms/mirrors/versions of characters in Smash. All of them would have an "evil" motif to them, whether the character itself, their costume, home stage or music.

Stage #1: Heroes At Darkness
vs (Black costume): The back-alley doctor version of our beloved hero! Stage: Mushroomy Kingdom (SMB Underground music)

Stage #2: The Original Doppelganger
vs (Metal): Wario is the original Doppelganger! The metal is a reference to another iconic Smash doppelganger, Metal Mario. Stage: Gamer

Stage #3: Obscure Royalty
vs (Black costumes, too if she has one): The princesses, but with her black and dark costumes, to give the "Shadow Queen" vibe. Stage: Dracula's Castle (with one of the Dark World Dungeon remixes as BGM)

Stage #4: Fallen Angels Rain
vs :darkpit: 10x: A slew of Dark Pits fall onto you! Stage: Reset Bomb Forest

Stage #5: The Evil Of Time And Winds
vs (Dark Link versions): The alternate forms of the Hero Link, but doused in darkness! Stage: Bridge Of Eldin

Stage #6: Darkness Echoes
vs (Dark Samus) 10x: The idea here is to go against YOUR doppelgangers! Every single Samus costume (representing each a different suit) would come, then Zero Suit herself (in her black costume), and then finally, a Dark Samus would be your last opponent. Stage: Brinstar (I imagine Master Hand would be the true final boss. If it isn't, then this is the last match so naturally it'd be in Final Destination instead)

Rosalina Concept

Being a galactic traveler, Rosalina travels to various planets and galaxies, but will have to defend herself along the way. For certain stages, Rosalina has to help another hero or two stop some villainous entities.

Stage 1 (Ness): A Trip to Onett - vs.

Stage 1 (Lucas): Fourside Tour - vs.

Stage 1 (F-Zero): Port Town Duel - vs.

Stage 1 (Pikmin): Pikmin Attack - vs.

Stage 2 (Metroid): Aiding the Bounty Hunter - & (ally) vs. &

• Details: Samus may be among the greatest bounty hunters around, but even she needs help from time to time. Help Samus bring down Dark Samus and Ridley.

Stage 2 (Kirby): Dream Land's Food Drought - & (ally) vs. & (Meta Knight palette)

• Details: Some greedy pigs have taken all the food from Dream Land. Help Kirby put an end to the food theft.

Stage 2 (Star Fox): Star Fox Treason? - & (ally) vs. & (black palette)

• Details: Fox is under attack by Wolf... ...and Falco? Wait, that Falco is an imposter...

Stage 2 (Kid Icarus): Inverse Palutena's Temple - & (ally) vs. (Medusa palette) &

• Details: A dark force has turned Palutena's Temple into a realm of darkness. Help Pit set things right.

Stage 3 (Ness): The Ness Ambush - vs. (x15)

• Note: If Stage 1 (Ness) or Stage 1 (Lucas) was played during a playthrough, this match will never occur.

Stage 3 (Lucas): The Lucas Army - vs. (x15)

• Note: If Stage 1 (Lucas) or Stage 1 (Ness) was played during a playthrough, this match will never occur.

Stage 3 (F-Zero): Falcon Swarm - vs. (x15)

• Note: If Stage 1 (F-Zero) was played during a playthrough, this match will never occur.

Stage 3 (Pikmin): The Pikmin Storm - vs. (x15)

• Note: If Stage 1 (Pikmin) was played during a playthrough, this match will never occur.

Stage 4 (Metroid): Fear the God of Death - , (ally), & (ally) vs. (2x-size; 1.8x damage dealt)

• Details: Ridley is a major threat to the universe, and this time, Samus may need extra help to defeat him...
• Note: If Stage 2 (Metroid) was played during a playthrough, this match will never occur.

Stage 4 (Kirby): Trouble at the Fountain - , (ally), & (ally) vs. (2x-size; 1.8x damage dealt)

• Details: Dedede is up to no good at the Fountain of Dream again. Help Kirby and Meta Knight dethrone his ambitions.
• Note: If Stage 2 (Kirby) was played during a playthrough, this match will never occur.

Stage 4 (Star Fox): Star Fox in Peril - , (ally), & (ally) vs. (2x-size; 1.8x damage dealt)

• Details: Wolf has a huge bounty for Fox and Falco. It's up to Rosalina to help the Star Fox team survive this attack.
• Note: If Stage 2 (Star Fox) was played during a playthrough, this match will never occur.

Stage 4 (Kid Icarus): Skyworld's Doppelganger Threat - , (ally), & (ally) vs. (2x-size; 1.8x damage dealt)

• Details: Viridi has given Dark Pit a way to take over Skyworld. Help Pit and Palutena take back their home.
• Note: If Stage 2 (Kid Icarus) was played during a playthrough, this match will never occur.

Stage 5 (Daisy): Metal Flower Fury - vs. (metal)

• Details: Daisy wants revenge against Rosalina, and has gone metallic to ensure her victory. Prove her wrong.

Stage 5 (Wario): Metal Glutton - vs. (metal)

• Details: Wario is hungry for gold, and he's gone metallic as well. Stop his greedy ways.

Stage 6: Save the Universe - & three allies vs., , , &

• Ally Choices: , , , , , , , &
• Details: The universe is being threatened by four evil rulers. Team up with three allies to stop their plans.

Final Stage - vs. Master Hand
